Lalita

Lalita was born many centuries ago, confirmed as truth when she was briefly apprehended and subjected to cruel and inhumane experimental research. Her genetics trace her heritage to somewhere in the Middle East, but little else is known about her. She adamantly will not divulge specific details about her past, as if she refuses to recall. Coaxing incites violence.

However, it is known that she has made appearances around the world, her residency never static for too long. When she stirs up too much attention and/or crime, she goes into hiding for as long as decades, resurfacing unpredictably in nearly any feasible location.

Throughout the ages she has collected many rare and unusual artifacts, stashing them away in exceedingly obscure locations until their worth is supreme, and in turn sells the relics to wealthy collectors. Her own wealth is excessive, but she does not seem overly material - at times she been known to live and fraternize with the homeless.

Her mental stability is extremely questionable and somewhere along the line she has snapped, perhaps due to the many ceaseless lives she has lived. She has been revered by a cult following as Kali Ma, also known as The Dark Mother - this has led her the believe that she is in fact an immortal Goddess, despite being nearly as vulnerable to death as most anyone else.
