  • Description

    Rhoswen (Rose) is a medium-tall young woman with very bright and curly red hair, usually braided and bound from her forehead by a leather band or kerchief. She customarily wears soft leather or cotton leggings, tunics, vests and boots her wrists are covered by buckled leather forearm guards. All of her leather accessories are stamped, carved and riveted in knotwork with flowers and vines in places. She adds knitted items and shearling-lined boots in colder times. Her dress is slightly old-fashioned and very outdoorsy, as well as functional. She carries a leather and canvas rucksack with an attached leather quiver and wooden bow strapped to it. The visible arrows are made of wood with helical feather fletching. You can see gears, springs and doodads sewn onto the rucksack, on the apron she sometimes wears, and on her kerchief. You get the sense they make her happy but are worn for use and ease of access over any fashion. You can see a leather journal and pencil in one pocket of the rucksack and a pair of brass goggles with glass lenses in another. Her expression is kind and gentle but not open, and she tends to hold herself very still and in reserved posture.
    She is often in the company of her horse, Honey, who wears leather and canvas tack which matches her quiver and accessories. She also has been seen by people very close to her with a snowy owl on a shoulder or arm pauldron, or gliding silently along above her. It is also not uncommon for her to be in the company of rabbits, otters and foxes
