    I typically post 3-5 paragraphs, and do best with at least 1-2 paragraphs from my partner.

    Note: I am currently on semi-hiatus, and not accepting new rp's at this time.

    A General Fantasy Adventure
    A typical adventure where our characters pair up for a common goal. There can be an object tied to the plot (macguffin), some mystery elements around that and threats the two might face, and another faction or organization that will be involved and can be a challenge or hindrance for them to overcome. Prefer to have some plot twists thrown in there, can suggest as we go or talk through ideas first.

    Jorun: An Alternative Path
    This would start either with Jorun freshly freed of his cult and taking on the life of a vagabond, or a short time afterwards where he comes across a great house that would see the arcane potential and use in him (he will have formed his pact with Aryneid already). While not required, I'm particularly craving an rp with a bit more political intrigue, where Jorun has to learn the ways of the upper class and the various squabbles between them. Alternatively, this can be much more open to other outcomes - YC could simply be a kind-hearted (or not) soul opting to help him out, and we can see where things go from there.

    Ahvenaas: Of Freedom and Fury
    Either starting off with Ven in his home city or having recently been abducted in human form by a well-organized group of bandits with a mage to boot, YC either becomes a partner for him via explorations outside of the city or in freeing him from his captors that would have been looking to illicitly sell him off. I am also open to alternatives to these two ideas, but there is a direction I have in mind: Ven would get out and begin to see more of the truth of the world, and this can potentially lead towards rebellion (either of his own or another nation). Could include some grittier themes, though if the rebellion is of his own nation there are certain points that would and would not be involved (yes: corruption, perhaps lies regarding treatment of his own kind). Alternatively, it could be rebellion against some other big, bad nation... Definitely open to ideas outside of this, ideally looking for something that can grow into a very adventure-esque story (or potentially a dark adventure - I'm open to either with this one).

    Mixed Science + Fantasy
    A futuristic setting where limited portal magic, living ships, the spiritual realm, and other things have influence and are part of the setting. This can be more of a light-hearted adventure, follow a plot we create together, or follow a story idea with some twists and turns. Will discuss plot ideas before diving in.

  • Reply Times:

    My work and personal life can predictably get a bit (or a lot) more busy at a few certain times of the year, specifically for a week or so in January, April, June or July, September, and late December. I may not reply as often during these times, but will do my absolute best to keep partners up to date.

  • Settings:

    I generally enjoy stories that are somewhat positive, but include challenges for our characters as well. Things aren't guaranteed to turn out well, and while struggles tend to add flavor rather than be the focus, a bad outcome can certainly still occur. I will rarely play a dark fantasy or grimdark setting - especially if the premise is interesting! Below is my typical comfort zone:
