    A child of middling upbringing, Adamissa grew up having a relatively normal life. She had a pair of loving and loyal parents, she never seemed to want for anything realistic, and she was a dilligent student. The only sign that seemed off was that, even as she grew into her teens, she always found herself as having ‘imaginary friends.’ Entities that others couldn’t quite see, deaf to their desperation and just wanting to be heard.

    Sure, it caused rifts with friends; family too. Adamissa always resisted her parents’ attempts at curbing a habit they saw as childish, and it didn’t get any better when her grades started to slip when she began to turn her studious nature into the supernatural. Thankfully, she got better at hiding when she spoke to spirits, too — and everything went back to normal. Mostly.

    Now in her young adult years, Adamissa makes do with an odd but noble mission: learn the stories of those wayward souls that can’t pass on, and writing their stories as memoirs under a private pen name. Everyone deserves to have at least one person that remembers them, don’t they?

    Spirit Magnet:
    There is a natural charisma to the woman, but mostly to any wayward spirits to the area. With an aura that exudes warmth and calm, Adamissa becomes an easy outlet to those that cannot fully pass — which can result in both good and bad.
    Medium:
    Adamissa doesn’t merely see or hear the undead spirits around her, although that is typically the most common way she converses with them. She can allow herself to withdraw and provide a temporary vessel for a spirit to take over, in the case they need the chance to show a location or have a chance to say something final to a loved one.

It’s as if the woman shuts down, in a way — to make space and become a vessel for those that she helps. This usually manifests as not responding as strongly to pain and becoming borderline emotionless. After a good sleep, this usually fades.
