Born in a remote village near Dragon Bridge in southern Haafingar, Skyrim, Alefinna was shaping up to be a formidable and memorable Nord warrior. She earned the name the Giant not just for her towering height, but also for her unshakable will and strength in battle, as well as her gentle and kind heart. She was raised among hunters, miners and soldiers, learning the old Nord ways through her training: fight with honor, never turn your back on kin, and honor your ancestors with your deeds each and every day.

At 6'3" tall with pale skin and blue eyes, she had average facial features and messy brown wavy hair. Nothing too striking, but certainly nothing off putting either. Her body had been honed for battle for decades, strong muscle rippling with every movement. Despite her musculature she carried a feminine physique, but most often it fell hidden beneath her armor or comfortable loose fitting clothing.

Her father, a former warrior turned town guard, taught her how to wield a blade and wear heavy armor by the time she was thirteen. He adored his daughter but treated her with the respect any warrior-to-be deserved. More often than not, he encouraged her to venture out on her own and discover the world for herself. Her mother, a stern and practical woman who contributed to their community by trading hand woven and knitted cloths, spent the time Alefinna wasn't practicing fighting and exploring to teach her everything she needed to survive the mountains - repairing weapons, caring for her wounds, gathering food and resources and caring for those in need. She was fiercely protective of her daughter and struggled with her frequent outings, begrudgingly giving up trying to contain her free spirit by the time she'd matured into a young woman.

By her early thirties, Alefinna had seen her share of bloodshed fighting off bandits and beastfolk along the Velothi Mountains. Wanting to protect the innocent and find her footing in the world, she slowly grew disillusioned by the stagnant politics of Solitude and growing tensions between the Imperials and isolationist factions in Skyrim. If there was one thing she had learned, it was that the innocent always suffered under those in power. Seeking a clearer purpose and an honorable cause, she left home and traveled South into Cyrodiil, where she hoped to join the Fighters Guild and make a difference.

She was in Chorrol, escorting a merchant caravan to the Imperial City, when the tragic news of Emperor Uriel Septim's assassination reached them. They were stunned to discover that the gates of Oblivion had opened, threatening Tamriel's safety and stirring her Nord blood into action. Caught in the heart of the realm descending into chaos, Alefinna seeks battle not to earn coin, but to preserve Tamriel itself. She fights because someone must -- and because she's never run from a fight in her life.
