Alonzo is a second generation immigrant from Spain, his family moved back after a few years of working on the Nakia Ranch but Alonzo stayed. Of course he stayed because of a girl, the one girl that meant everything to him and had no idea he even existed.

He stayed as her friend, watched her marry a man that was abusive and cruel. Helped her by being her friend and running the ranch with her when he left her. Watched her date another man who wasn't much better, and finally when he felt like there was no hope in the world that he'd be more than her friend...he was.

They were married by Christmas and have welcomed three children into the world their son Emilio, their adopted son Xerxes, and their new daughter Gabriela. He's happy, he's got a wonderful wife, a good home, a busy ranch, and his children. There isn't anything else he could ever want.
