Description

Andea is fairly tall and lanky, with lithe muscles from a constant exercise routine and a long face which sports a dusting of freckles. Her hair is bright red and extremely wavy, and constantly tied back in a low ponytail. It tends to tangle easily. Her eyes, teal and bright, feel almost uncomfortable to look straight at, but Andea herself has no problem making unwarranted eye contact.

Her voice, when you hear it, is generally soft-spoken and low, very breathy. On occasions where she does raise her voice, however, one might observe her rich deep contralto, as well as her fairly heavy northern accent.

Andea has the stamina to push through and run for long periods of time, even if she lacks the speed. She does not falter easily or outwardly, but even if she does, she pushes through with similar determination.
Biography

Andéa Scaal (born Andée Scaal) was the second child of married couple Bonash and Keldjor Scaal. Her older brother was named Ikomir. They were very close throughout their childhood. She was born in the Eyuk domain - a far northern reach where it snows almost every day of the year. As a child she learned how to use a hunting rifle, how to read the stars, and how to survive in heavy snow, all of which she's lost touch with in the present. She also used to play a native version of hockey until she was about eleven years of age.

Ikomir was killed in a tragic accident when Andea was about ten or eleven, and this shaped the rest of Andea's life. No one believes her, but she knows that it was a vampire which killed her brother. Since that event, she has stopped playing hockey, and harbours a deep resentment for vampires and similar daemonic beings which she has always had a weirdly intimate connection with. After that incident her family moved to another country to start a new life and better themselves. Andea still keeps Ikomir's bandanna as a token of their close relationship, while his ashes are hidden away on the top shelf of their home.

Currently, Andea is a high school student in year twelve (her second last year). She's not the friendly or sociable type, so she doesn't have many friends, but she is remarkably good at managing.
