• Biography

  Anja was born to a human woman who had no idea which Elf soldier that came through their village was her father. Such was the way of things back then, when Elvish patrols were common. One of many village bastards, Anja grew up knowing that she was somehow less than the others. Unlike the other bastards, she wanted to know who her father was, to meet the man and try to create a friendship. She was never able to figure out who it was, and her mother died when she was young, leaving more questions than answers.
  
  At thirteen, the village was set ablaze by passing bandits. Anja was rounded up with several others, caged and carted off, intended to be sold. A passing patrol caught sight of them and set them all free, depositing them in the next town. With nowhere to go, Anja was taken in by a priestess who introduced her to The Order.
  
  Now twenty-one, Anja has spent the last eight years learning about the Goddess and preparing herself to serve for the rest of her life as a priestess herself. As required, she left the temple and is wandering the world for one year. The goal is to see the world and make her final decision - to swear her life away and devote every moment to her Goddess, or to abandon the temple forever and choose a different path.
