• Biography

  Audalis lived with his mother and father in the Denerim Alienage. Life was rough, though Audalis always searched for hope, often sitting beneath the vhenadahl as the light danced around the branches and spotted the ground all around him. His mother, Aisa, dealt with their life in the Alienage with as much grace as she could manage. His father, Osiril, an elven apostate, was resentful of their situation, wanting better for his son and his wife. Whenever Audalis turned five, it became very apparent that he'd inherited his father's magical talents. While his mother was confident they would be safe from the templars, Osiril, had his doubts. As the years passed by, Osiril seemed to drift farther and farther from his wife and son.
  
  Two years had passed. Audalis was seven years old, practicing his magic in their home with his mother close by, encouraging him with smiles and gentle words. This was when his father came to them, and in a flurry of red, Aisa was down upon the ground, choking for air she could not attain as Osiril's hand wrapped around her delicate throat, nails digging deep into the flesh and blood welling from the wounds, further supplying his power. Osiril had been driven insane by the forbidden magic and demons, found himself compelled to murder his wife. He turned to the mortified Audalis, reaching out with a dagger and yanking the boys right arm towards him. He had spoken to his son, in a voice not his own, claiming to give his son a better life. He sliced a deep gash upon Audalis' forearm, eliciting a scream of horror as Audalis yanked himself away.
  Audalis unleashed a fireball upon his mad father, before turning and running out of their home, leaving the body of his mother and his possessed father behind him. The templars stationed in Denerim arrived quickly, having been informed when other elves of the Alienage were frightened by the screams they heard. When they found Osiril, they dispatched the man quickly and efficiently, and Audalis watched from the alcove of the corner of a house. Blood dripped from his arm and his blue eyes were wide and afraid. One templar approached him, gently asking him what happened. Audalis told them everything, included his own gift of magic. They took the frightened elven boy away from the Alienage that day, and took him to the Circle Tower stationed in the middle of Lake Calenhad.
  
  Audalis became fast friends with a mage, Jowan. Audalis sided with Jowan in attempting to escape the Circle. He was recruited into the Wardens by Duncan.
  
  He saved the Circle tower from the abominations, preserving the lives that he could. With this, he was assured the support of the remaining mages to combat the Blight.
  
  He set out to the Dalish. He cured the werewolves of their curse, and while going through the Ruins, discovered the secrets to being an Arcane Warrior.
  
  When liberating Redcliffe, Audalis told Jowan he never wanted to see him again. The blood mage left, and Audalis used Kinloch Hold's resources to free Connor of possession. He preserved the Ashes of Andraste and saved Arl Eamon. The Gauntlet made him begin reflecting on who he was, and what could come to be. He slowly began to grow.
  
  In Orzammar, Audalis chose Bhelen to rule, feeling that his progressive ideals would be the best for Orzammar's future, and for all dwarves. He was loyal to Bhelen through his journey through the Deep Roads, and chose to side with Caridan and destroy the Anvil of the Void.
  
  When he ran into Jowan, protecting refugees under the name of Levyn, Audalis had changed greatly, matured immensely. Through the Gauntlet, through becoming an Arcane Warrior, and through the horrors of the Deep Roads, he had grown stronger. These trials had calmed the young Warden, bringing him to hold his sense of duty above emotional strife, to think of what was best. He forgave his oldest friend, no longer loathing Jowan's use of blood magic, nor the magic itself. Throughout the progression of the Blight, and studying old scrolls, he knew desperation could drive the best people to do dark things, such as using blood magic. He no longer abhorred the practice, understanding desperation as he did. He uses the Power of Blood, given by Avernus' concoction, only against Darkspawn.
  
  At the Landsmeet, Alistair was put on the throne, and Loghain was executed. The Dark Ritual was done, and no Wardens, save for Riordan, were lost.
  
  In Amaranthine, Audalis became fast friends with Nathaniel and Sigrun. After much indecision, Audalis had faith in Vigil's Keep and the fortifications he made, and thus was able to save the Keep and the city. In the end, he ventured to the Dragonbone Wastes with Nathaniel, Sigrun, and Oghren, and put an end to the Mother. After much thought, Audalis killed the Architect. Despite the Architect's goal being "good", the darkspawn are a cancer, even so. They taint the very earth they tread on. He decides he cannot risk this, thinking that intelligent darkspawn would be far worse to face in a Blight. Thus, he kills the Architect.
  
  
  After this, he left to travel. He went to Par Vollen with Sten, and also to Orlais with Leliana. He would occasionally visit Alistair in court, alongside with visiting Amaranthine. He would also stop by Vigil's Keep, to make sure all is ran smoothly.

• Personality

  In the beginning, Audalis is very shy and unsure of himself. He doesn't want to be alone, but finds that he absolutely hates crowds.
  
  After his recruitment, he slowly became stronger in himself, stronger in his decisions and his words. Audalis grew to trust his magic and his ability as an Arcane Warrior, knowing he had to in order to keep those he cared for safe.
  
  Audalis knows when to be serious, but enjoys joking with his companions, and enjoying the simple things in life. He is very close friends with all that were in his company throughout the Fifth Blight.
