NAME: Bimkubwa Sagal Ghedi
AKA: Baba, exclusively so. She has gone by this alias ever since she was a tiny papoose, before she could even walk or speak or dream.
GENDER: Female.
AGE: She is still fresh off the cusp of adolescence and just barely brushes her twenties, but carries the affluence of someone twice her age.
SPECIES: Human, for all intents and purposes.- SUBSPECIES: Black-mouthed mamba.
ETHNICITY: Somali.
BIRTH PLACE: Came into possession of the Sultan at the tender age of five, and will consequently proclaim her hometown to be Mogadishu, Somalia when inquired. This is not her true origin, however. Whydah, maybe? Or Barava? The world may never know.
NATIVE LANGUAGE: Somali, the Benadir dialect.
LANGUAGE(S) LEARNED:- Arabic: Fluent in writing and speaking.
- Portuguese: Moderately fluent in writing and speaking.
- English: Speaks the language with great gusto, but this does not necessarily translate to correct. Her speech is average at best, and she cannot read or write the language.
MARITAL STATUS: Unattached.
RELIGION: None, although she tends to skew towards a deistic mentality.

BUILD: Baba is a tenuous band of lean muscle and corded arches, tall and reed-like. Her limbs are pliable; they bend with the wind and move with no effort. Although mostly wholesome, her fingers, toes, and spine are downright cadaverous. One can run their hands down her back and feel the fine texture of each vertebrae outlined under her sepia flesh.
HAIR: It is cork-screwed and thick, an inky Venetian drape that curls around her thighs. Due to its excessive length, she often twists or plaits it for mobility's sake.
EYES: Hard-packed dirt -- her pupils are nothing more than black crescents slitted against a dusty backdrop.
VOICE: There is a distinct lilt to her speech. Her voice is a sing-song rasp that comes from deep in her belly, guttural, with a discernible one-two-three rhythm. She never strays from this triple meter --even her breathing carries the same intonation, inhale, exhale, inhale, pause-- and it is layered with her heavy-handed Somalian bite.
PIERCINGS: Her septum is pierced, along with several ear piercings. She used to have a belly piercing, but this was ripped out in a fight one time and it is not an experience she would like to repeat.
TATTOOS:- Three solid black lines on each side of her face.
- Tree roots that extend from her knuckles up to just below her collarbones.

PERSONALITY: Something is simply not right with this one. She is exceedingly quick-headed but lacks sagacity, instead choosing to act on flighty whims. Baba's disposition is unsettling: her laughs are frequent but cheerless, and she is just as likely to share a meal with you as she is to burying her little nails in your eye sockets. She's volatile and abhors regimentation, preferring mind games and other 'fun' (read: subjective) conceptualizations. Despite all this, she is not completely unhinged -- she displays surprising clarity at times, belying a much more profound persona underneath the cackling bambino.
EDUCATION & SKILLSET: Baba is mathematically and linguistically competent, and has a firm understanding of the material, slave, and maritime trade systems. Most of her learning endeavors, however, are focused in the art of fighting. She is well-versed in many combat styles, whether it is with a melee weapon or nothing at all.
HABITS & QUIRKS:- Besides the cadence of her speech and breathing patterns, there are other ways that Baba operates in intervals of three. She will tap her pointer finger upon her thigh in beats of three when otherwise idle, she will cut her meals into three sections to be swallowed with great numerical care, she will step over and behind a door's threshold thrice before entering, et cetera.

- Has a penchant for shiny baubles. She is a shameless hoarder: if one were to upend her pockets, an absurd amount of glossy tchotchkes and nicked coins would undoubtedly spill out.
- When distressed, she will compulsively pull out the hair directly behind her ears; fortunately, her hair is quite thick, and these patches are nearly indiscernible.

- Exhibits certain symptoms of OCD. She is unaccustomed to her own autonomy after working for the Sultan her entire life, and has developed compulsions to regulate herself. She has an atypical sensitivity towards the number three and its overworld effect, and is also afflicted with minor trichotillomania.
