Bane Storyteller

Bane Storyteller, a gray furred anthropomorphic rodent, carries himself in a large cloak saturated with items from his past.

With a less exaggerated snout compared to his feral kin, Bane's face is largely hidden by the hood of his oversized multi-colored cloak, save for two bright gold eyes. He sports a maroon-red long tail, short-clawed hands, a relatively lithe build, and a near-constant shy smile. The well-worn large cloak just barely grazes the ground below with its size, and is riddled with faded patchwork and interior pockets. He carries a small satchel with an aged-looking book within, but rarely uses it. Other than the cloak, Bane often only wears simple trousers, a violet sleeveless shirt, and heavy boots for his dexterous feet.

Aside from his usual attire, Bane sports a number of items all pocketed or hung within his large cloak. These items include:

• A small crystalline dagger with a brass hilt
• A single, right-handed, plated metal gauntlet
• A pouch with multiple small gemstones of various properties
• A charcoal pencil and fragments of paper
• An elaborately engraved fountain pen with an extremely sharp tip
• Small wooden blocks and a whittling knife
• An old lockpick set, encased in leather wrap
• A piece of flint, sewing needle, spool of thread, a few marbles, and
• A menagerie of other smaller tools.

Their weight doesn't seem to hinder Bane at all, though he'll occasionally fashion himself a walking stick on long hikes. Every morning, anxious hands check his every pocket (even those empty), in preparation for the day to come.

Modern Setting

In a more modern setting, Storyteller does not where his cloak around; His various tools are all either at home, or in a backpack when traveling. His 'cloak' is instead a cherished quilt, that he normally hangs on the wall of his room like a grand tapestry, or keeps rolled, as if a sleeping bag, when travelling. At the most, Bane would carry a pocket knife on his person (instead of a dagger).
