• Description

  Brighton is a fairly average looking guy with brown hair and brown eyes. He's fit but not muscular and is often found wearing teeshirts and jeans. Bright always seems to have dark circles under his eyes but he's typically in a good mood despite this.
  
  Ian is a bright boy, with darker skin than his father, brown eyes and dark brown hair. He wears various print shirts and jeans. The shirts might not be what's in or brand new, but his father does his best to take care of him.

• Biography

  Brighton was the highschool quarterback and his future was looking bright when he got the news from his girlfriend that she was pregnant. He loved her, and though they were only sixteen her parents consented for them to be married. They both agreed to finish school, and with some help from both parents they would both attend a nearby community college. It wasn't the fancy life playing for the NFL that Bright had imagined, but he loved Renata and he knew they would be happy together.
  
  Everything changed the night Ian was born. There were complications, and even though the doctors did everything they could Renata didn't survive the birth. Renata's parents were angry and blamed Brighton for their daughters death. They wanted nothing to do with their grandson. Bright's parents grew distant after what happened, thinking that they had made the wrong decision in letting their son wed so young. They urged him to give the boy up for adoption and go back to his original plan for after school.
  
  Brighton refused and cut ties with his family entirely. Ian was all he had left of Renata and he was determined to take care of him. When he graduated school he moved as far away from his parents as he could get and ended up in a place called Nexxus, where he was assured they would not be able to find him or Ian. Raising a baby was a full time job that Brighton did his best with, even though he wasn't prepared at all.
  
  He had to move around a few times, and he changed jobs quite a few times. He did his best to take classes as he could, but he's still working on a degree. He currently works at a little place called Apple Diner during the day while Ian is at school and spends time with his son and works on online classes at night. He's currently living in a cheap complex on the edge of Uptown, and he's become a little friendly with one of his neighbors, Quinlan Fletcher. Strange things often happen in the complex, but Bright does his best to ignore them because rent is so cheap.
