Brooke has always known she was adopted her parents told her as soon as they meant she was old enough. Both of her parents is big fans of Brooke Evie Baker better known as Evie Brooke so the named her after their favorite artist, what neither Brooke or her adoptive parents knew was that her biological mother actually is Evie Brooke! Evie got pregnant after a night with her friend with benefits Greg Wilkinson but the pregnancy came at the worst time possible so Evie put her new born daughter up for adoption right after her birth and without telling Greg she was pregnant! After she lost weight she finally got confidence to audition to "The Voice" to pursue her life long dream of becoming a singer, with her voice and backstory she was a sure contestant, that year Evie Brooke was one of the coaches and after Brooke had sung a slow version of "Kings and Queens" by Evie all three chairs turned around and when one of the other judges Isla Hill asked her name she said "My names is Brooke Evie Thorne and I was actually named after Evie, my parents are like crazy fans of hers, they actually met to one of her concerts" Isla looked at her "Well, so I guess I know who you are going to pick..." Brooke nodded "Evie has been an important part of my life..." Evie looked stunned at the beautiful young woman in front of her and said "It's you... Brooke, oh and look you are so big now..." and put her hand on her chest. See after she put Brooke up for adoption she still had kept an eye on her daugther her to see how she was raised and when she found out the folks that adopted her daugther was fans of hers she sent both Brooke and her parents gifts every year on Brookes birthday and on christmas which only made her parents idolise her even more so she also had met both Brooke and her parents several times and she even came clean to her parents... Which made them mad at her for like 2 minutes because they couldn't be angry at their idol and they actually thought it was so cool that their idol was the birth mother of their daugther but they promised not to tell Brooke and let Evie do it herself. Brooke told the three coaches about how she was adopted but her adoptive parents had raised her well and she was still looking for her biological mom and the studio went "awww" Evie felt to much guilt and then dropped a bomb on live tv when she said "Brooke I think there is something you need to know... Many years ago I had a casual relationsship with Greg Wilkinson and one night we didn't use protection... I became pregnant but it was a super bad time in my life to have a child so I put her up for adoption.... Back then it was the right choice but there is not a single day where I don't think about my beautiful little girl" the crowd went silent and the host asked her "Evie, are you saying what I think?" she nodded "Brooke, I'm your mother" the took the entire studio by surprise and you could see the schoked faces on many members of the audience
Brooke looked at the woman clearly schoked and was silent for a long time but when she thought about how much Evie had actually been in her life that made sense, she wanted to hate Evie for it, but she didn't. Evie got up on the stage and hugged her daugther Brooke was just happy to finally know who her birth parents was. After Evies reveal Brooke looked at the coaches "In light of this new information I would like to step down from the competition" the entire studio understood and Evie promised to help her get in the industry... they hugged again and Brooke stepped down from the stage Evie promised to help her get into the industry, a promise she kept she pulling a favor from her good friend Tom at Year 89:Records but honestly it didn't take much to convince him had seen the show with his wife and daugther and heard that Brooke had taken after both of her parents when it came to singing
