    Anne was raised on the Jokalo by her mother, Joanne Haust, to one day take control of the Jokalo while Joanne and her crew retired, wealthy beyond most people's reach. Anne was trained to have an amazing eye for spotting profitable ventures, and to only accept jobs that were ideologically good. She runs her crew with a tight fist, giving them free range so long as they stay within her accepted beliefs.
