  Furcadia Description:
  Cass wears slightly more ragged clothing than once adorned the broad shoulders. Shadows haunt the dark blue eyes, and cheeks are more hollow. Jaw-length white hair frames a handsome face. A deep scar runs from forehead to jaw over the left eye, though the eye itself is undamaged. Determining sex is tricky with this one, since the face could be either and voice is similar. Often seen with a black cat named Kasha.
  
  
  Scars

  • Face: A scar from an edged weapon slices over the left eye from hairline to jaw. The eye appears undamaged.
  • Left Shoulder: A bite from a creature with shark-like teeth closing over the top of the shoulder.
  • Upper Back: Near where shoulders intersect her spine are two deep, hollow scars, like empty sockets. Around the sockets are teethmarks resembling those on the left shoulder.
  • Lower Back: At the small of the back are two scars mirroring those on her shoulders, as though a limb had been removed.
  • Lower Belly to Lower Back: A circular scar as though part of the body had been scooped out and filled in.

  
  Demeanor
  By no definition could Cassiel ever be considered a "people person". Cass is blunt almost to the point of being rude and unconsciously ignores social norms. Despite the lack of graces, Cassiel is a profoundly kind, forgiving, and loving person. Cass's intentions are almost always good, even if mistakes are often made. Trustworthy to a fault, and walking the words spoken--unlike many paladins, Cassiel does not find fault with or judge those who believe differently so long as they do no harm. While Cass might disagree with them, the Father has many paths for people to walk.
  
  Supernatural Senses

  • Creatures of the "evil" alignment feel distinctly uncomfortable around Cassiel. Cass radiates a powerfully holy presence. This does not mean dark creatures cannot share space with Cass, but they will likely be aware of the holy energy Cass possesses. In turn, Cass is aware of demons and dark creatures, and they set Cass on edge.
    
  • Those who can sense emotion will feel that Cass's surface emotions are sorrowful, lonely, and tired. At the core, Cassiel is a profoundly good and kind character, however.
    
  • Beings of magic will sense an aura different than their own. Cass does not possess "magic" in the traditional sense, but they can feel the power nonetheless. It is like standing beside the sun - bright and white-hot. Though nothing in Cassiel seeks to cause pain or harm to others. Looking at Cassiel with mage sight is extremely dangerous and ill-advised. It can cause blindness (temporary or permanent).
    
  • Characters of all alignments except evil will likely feel comfortable around Cassiel and have the feeling Cass can be trusted. Cassiel tends to inspire the best in people, though this is not a requirement. The best description is that Cassiel is a light in the darkness. What that means for your character is up to you.

• Skills and Abilities

  Non-Magical Skills

  • Longsword Combat: Cass is extremely skilled in longsword combat due to lifetimes' worth of dedicated training. Cassiel is by no means invincible, of course, but exceptional in this arena.
  • Long Knife Combat: Cass is proficient in handling combat knives and daggers of various sizes.
  • Archery: Much like sword, Cassiel is capable of feats of marksmanship most mortals cannot hope to achieve.
  • Mundane Medicine: More on the level of a corpsman or paramedic, Cass is capable of handling most battlefield injuries or keeping wounded alive long enough (without magic) to reach a proper doctor. Cassiel cannot treat long-term illnesses or diseases.
  • Hunting: Cass is beginning to learn how to hunt and now possesses remedial tracking skills.
  • Carpentry: Cassiel is a master carpenter capable of framing a home as well as assembling one. Given enough time, Cass could build a house with little assistance.
  • Carving: Able to do expert-level carving. With much practice, Cass has developed the ability to bring life out of wood and create beautiful and delicate work.
