• Backstory

  So, Chase was born in a small English village to an American father and British mother. They were both mages, and their life was a happy one. They had friends, family- a perfect life.
  When Chase was about five years old, witch hunters moved into their village, and upon discovering the truth about Chase's family, proceeded to murder his parents and burn the house down. Chase was spared, as he was just a child, and his godfather, Isaiah Wilson, took him in. That's who he lives with now, when he's not at school.
  Chase is a siren, it's his magical gift. Imagine your perfect image of a male- that's what he looks like to you. It's a constantly active ability, he can't turn it off. However, if you make a connection or bond with him and focus, you can possibly see through the glamour and see his true form.
  Due to this ability, combined with his friendly, easygoing personality, he's rather popular at school. Everyone likes him, and lots of people crush on him. However, this exact ability makes it hard for Chase to get close to people, as he knows just how shallow and materialistic it can be. No one really sees the real him.
  This same ability also makes it hard for some people to really trust him, even if they enjoy his company, and on the same hand, Chase is no saint either- he'd be lying if he said he'd never used his magical good looks to get his way. He's a bit of an ass at times, as he's used to getting his way and never being told no, if you call him out on his shit he'll be upset at first, but secretly, he wants someone to do that, to be honest with him, not treat him special.
  In all seriousness, he just wants someone to see the real him, someone who doesn't like him just for his good looks.
