  • Parents abandoned him as a child.
  • Lived in Bestine until the age of 12.
  • Survived through petty crime, lying and cheating.
  • Began to become quite materialistic and possessive of that which was his.
  • Got mixed up with a swoop gang, descended further into the criminal underworld.
  • Swoop gang was part of a larger crime syndicate.
  • Leader of swoop gang masquerades as parent-like figure to manipulate him.
  • Signs showing of heightened perception and situations seeming to bend to him, though subtle.
  • Daeryan was often included in larger crimes, used as a distraction or lure.
  • Performs telekinesis during a heist – whispers begin about him.
  • Swoop gang leader attempts to sell him into slavery. Slaver is a Jedi sent to find him.

• As a Jedi Padawan

  • Taken in as a Padawan.
  • Was taught to read and write at the Jedi Temple.
  • Researched history, became studious in the history of the Jedi and Sith.
  • Jedi Master indulged him, taking him to tombs and burial sites – began to steal trinkets from the tombs they visited. Becoming more and more interested in ancient artefacts.
  • Struggled with right/wrong. Untrusting.
  • Takes what he wants, when he wants. Showing signs of being tempted by the Dark Side.
  • Indulging his Padawan, the Jedi Master takes Daeryan to investigate a Sith tomb on an outer rim world.
  • Daeryan slips away from his Master during their exploration.
  • Discovers Sith Holocron deep within the bowels of the tomb which he does not disclose.
  • His Master sensed nothing further amiss than his usual concerns and did not discover the Holocron.
  • On return to Coruscant, Daeryan has a chance encounter with Delilah.
  • Delilah takes note of the Padawan as an opportunity to be grabbed
  • Senses the Dark Side in him and the Holocron
  • Uses the Holocron to whisper to Daeryan and further his fall to the Dark Side, planting seeds of doubt and mistrust of his Master. Promising power and knowledge.
  • She revealed only enough to keep Daeryan interested and sprinkled her lies with truths.
  • She would come to Daeryan in his dreams/visions while he slept, Daeryan becomes entranced by her beauty and that which she could offer him.
  • Delilah remains in Coruscant.

• Betrayal of Jedi Master

  • Through the Holocron, Delilah convinces Daeryan to ask to see the remains of the tomb of Exar Kun.
  • While on the site of the former location of the tomb of Exar Kun, Delilah continues to whisper to Daeryan through the Holocron, though more urgently.
  • As he inspects the remains of the once great temple, he finds remnants of Exar Kun’s writings, yet, they were not in a legible state.
  • Jedi Master notes his discovery and attempts to destroy the writings; Delilah harnesses this moment to exploit Daeryan’s mistrust and desire for her.
  • She reveals herself with her companion, Q.
  • She convinces Daeryan to slay his Master for her.

• Current affairs

  • Infatuated with the Dark Jedi Delilah Darkmatter
  • Controlled through an ancient Sith collar around his neck through which Delilah can channel her will.
  • It serves both to amplify Delilah’s own force abilities when used upon Daeryan and to harness his abilities, whether through controlling him or taking command of his power herself.
  • Partakes in Delilah’s underworld business ventures and his loyalty to her is unwavering.
  • Often found with Delilah’s other conquest, the force-sensitive mandalorian, Q.
  • Seeking to further his knowledge of the Sith.

• Sith collar

  Daeryan wears a collar around his neck, an ancient Sith artifact which marks him as property and allows Delilah to:

  Amplify Delilah’s own Force powers against Daeryan
  Harness Daeryan’s control over the Force to allow it to flow through Delilah, enhancing her power
  Control Daeryan’s Force abilities, making him a puppet for her.
