Description
Dorian is rather tall (6’3”), appears slender but isn’t lanky, bony, or even muscular (as in, he’s surprisingly soft).
He has medium brown skin with a somewhat patchy complexion as well as sprinkles of freckles over his cheeks and nose. His hair, a very dark brown (with a tint of auburn), is always kept in either an unkempt, tiny ponytail or an unkempt, even tinier bun; strands of hair are always falling down or sticking out due to the lack of effort when putting it up. He has the beginning scruffiness of an attempt at a beard that remains almost solely on his chin, as well as near-unnoticeable whispers of a mustache. His eyebrows are dark and constantly plucked neatly (a stark contrast to the lack of effort in the rest of his appearance), and there’s a gap near the end of his left eyebrow that could either be tragically unintentional or oddly deliberate.
Two small ball piercings are just below that eyebrow, and he also has a septum piercing that is constantly adorned with a fancy, intricate nose ring. His eyes are somewhat small and slanted (just a little) and are an yellow-tinted amber, which would be striking if the eyebags just below weren’t so dark and hard to miss. His ears are pierced as well, and he wears exclusively simple studs. The top of his left ear is slightly folded, but only a little.
As for clothing, half of his garments are stained in one way or another by wine, ranging from a small dribbles on the sleeve to giant stains right on the front. He tries to avoid wearing these but will if he’s in a bind (read: hasn’t done his laundry). His favorite color is purple, almost any shade of it, and it’s tackily noticeable since nearly everything in his wardrobe is in fact purple.
He has a favorite coat that is worn to the point of tearing in spots on the sleeves, as well as having dark splotches from uncountable wine spills. He also loves anything frilly, and wears a jabot as well as a silky white long-sleeved undershirt for the sole purpose of having the frills at the end of the sleeves stick out of his jacket. Dorian is constantly cold, so he’s always wearing multiple layers. He seems to have only one pair (or at least one style) of dark purple, nearly-black pants, and well-worn, scuffed black knee-length boots.
Sometimes he wears less fancy clothing, but very rarely and when he’s having a particularly lazy day. It’s more likely for him to just wear the same clothing ten days in a row than to wear something dressed-down. (No worries, though,
he has a knack for never sweating and has overall good hygiene, though
you can’t tell by his appearance.) -
