  • Personality

    Clever, curious, definitely too cocky for his own good, and a little bit clumsy. He's also very brave, but it could said that it's borderline foolish, and he can be awfully stubborn when he's set his mind on something.

  • Physical Traits

    With his blue eyes he definitely has a way of charming the ladies...or so he thinks. All boyish smiles and winks, he actually got his scar from walking right into a line as it was being reeled in.

    He's a little lean and not overly tall, but he has some tone to him from working on the docks most days.

    His face is, to him, obnoxiously boyish. He's very nearly 18, ready to hit the pubs, but he's constantly mistaken for 15. He makes it work for him though when he needs to.

    He's fast on his feet and agile, and being able to use both hands equally as well as the other is very advantageous for a part-time thief and wannabe swordsman.

  • Background

    Drefan grew up accompanying his father to the ports since a very young age after his mother's passing, offering a hand once he was old enough to start working (much to his dismay). Their job of hauling in catches put Drefan so close to the big ships that could take him away from his dull existence in a small town, and yet so far from his dream of boarding one and sailing off into the unknown seas. Not that he doesn't have plans...

    Dock working wasn't the most glamorous job but it did put food on the table just fine, they weren't ever so poor as to have to beg for scraps, but certainly not wealthy. Drefan often made friends of the street kids, particularly the ones who milled around the ports, who taught him a thing or two about snatching that extra coin or that half loaf of bread when no one was looking. Poor importantly, they taught him to pick a lock and sneak in and out of places which would be the key to him stowing away some day on one of those ships. He loved his father dearly, but this small town life? He's just not cut out for it. He needs adventure, damsels in distress (or not so in distress, just damsels), pirates, treasure, all of it! He just needs to find his opening...
