  You nearly can tell Eldric from anyone else in a crowd, he is masked always, normally hooded, and in his custom made wheelchair, covered in the tools of his trade.

• Backstory

  Eldric was raised by monks, his father and mother abandoning him at a small hamlet on the day of birth due to his malformed legs. The boy from birth was doomed to never walk nor take up arms in a fight, instead the monks started to very early in life teach him the benefit of such an infirmity. While the boy could not run, he could read, where he could not dance, he could write, and where he could not fight, he could guide others not to do so as well. The monks raised the boy as a scholar, and healer, teaching him the fine arts of their craft. He learned to speak other languages and write in them as well. He learned how to speak to people, and how to treat them in a way that would earn their respect and in time their ear. The monks taught him well. In time he found position at a minor lords home, serving as his personal adviser and steward. Under this role he nearly doubled the lords land's output and saw him earn more honors then ever the minor lord thought he would. Other nobles took note and soon Eldric was passed to a greater lord a man of great knowledge and worth and together for many years the toiled in the affairs of his domain, keeping him in good health and in good coin. But not all in life is good, at the age of sixity, healers told the old man that he had develop the black lung, and should he wish to see more years he would need to move further inland or further towards the coast...he did so, over and over again...until realizing he had not accomplished all he could, at the age of sixty-eight he decided to head to the monarch herself...the queen in Aberwyth....and hope to serve a higher purpose before called to his eternal sleep...
