Born in the advance civilization of the Galactic Alliance of Humankind, Ledo is a synthetic being created for the purpose of serving the Galactic Alliance. From the moment of his birth, everything that was Ledo was specifically designed under the eugenic standards set by the Galactic Alliance. Like his kin, amongst his peers Ledo appears no different with porcelain skin, white hair, and purple eyes. Under GA, this appearance symbolizes unity by which all humans are created equal under Providence. It's been determined by the Galactic Alliance that these features were the most ideal as differentiation amongst humans was considered inefficient and provoked unsightly, frivolous matters. By removing individuality, humanity can be united. Or so, that's what Ledo had believed his entire life. To the Galactic Alliance, individuality, free will, was a hindrance in the empire's attempt to subdue, conquer, and control all humans as their soldiers to carry out the will of the Galactic Alliance. In a lab protocol drill testing out a new space jump technology, Ledo was flung out from the hyper jump and thrown into orbit with his pilot, Chamber, disconnected from GA servers. The most advanced form of human augmentation, denoted by its namesake, nanites are injected into living cells and manipulates the human on a microscopic level. Because it is an injection, it is a relatively painless procedure however nano-modifications in the body may produce varying levels of pain and discomfort from irritation, migraines, and body-aches or "growing pains". All soldiers are modified by the Galactic Alliance with nanites that allows them the ability to do things that a control, a normal human, wouldn't be able to do. In the Galactic Alliances, there are tiers of nano-augmentation that differ amongst soldier and civilian ranks and occupations. Some subjects may have simple and practical nano-augmentations while others more complex and cybernetic. By the allowance of the nanites in his body, Ledo can manipulate the appearance of his body by changing up his features such as his hair, skin, and body type. Ledo can maintain this appearance as long as he deems it necessary for a mission. As a soldier, Ledo uses this ability to disguise himself as either an existing or non-existent person. Ledo can only manipulate his body on a cosmetic level as he cannot create new limbs, transform parts of his body into a weapon or object, transform his body on a cellular or chemical level, or become physically stronger. An extension of his body manipulation, Ledo can camouflage the entirety of his body to blend in with the environment and otherwise appear "invisible". The nanites in his body can manipulate his physical appearance so beyond cosmetic changes, Ledo can mask his presence in effort to avoid optical perception. Ledo's eyes are a result of an experimental surgery he had as a child. Connected to the nanites in his body, Ledo's eyes function just as regular eyes, allowing him to see the world behind him, however he has enhanced perception with infrared and night vision. With infrared vision, Ledo can perceive thermal variations in an environment or object - allowing him to detect living individuals in a chosen area. As for his night vision, Ledo can navigate himself with ease in low-light environments.
