  Hey there!
  
  This is my interpretation of a Banshee. I understand there is a lot of lore available to read, but this is how I've chosen to represent my character, Glycerine and please take that into consideration while RPing with me. I am, of course, open to questions/comments/suggestions regarding this character. Feel free to whisper me because I'm a super friendly individual.

  Name: Deirdre Reid (Pronounced - Deer + dre)
  Alias: Glycerine
  Gender: Female
  Race: Fae, though she is specifically a Banshee. She does, however, appear to be an average human at first glance.
  Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  Age: Unknown. No, seriously. She has no clue. However, the current form she is using appears to be about 19-25 years of age.
  Body Type: Endomorph (NSFW)
  Complexion: Pale-skinned but without blemishes.
  Height: 5'5"
  Weight: 230lbs
  Measurements: 48"-38"-50" 38F cup
  Hair: Ghastly orange in color. It is long, though partially shaved on the right half of her head.
  Eyes: Silver/extremely pale blue and heavily made up.
  Scars: Thoroughly healed slash across her throat.
  Piercings: Snakebites, cheeks, septum and nostril
  Tattoos: A chest piece and a keyhole on her lower back.
  Relationship Status: Single
  Orientation: Pansexual
  Personality: Somewhat standoffish at first, though the potential for her to be kind (and even friendly!) does, indeed, exist, even if it is a little difficult to get her to show that part of herself. She is self-serving, somewhat selfish, sexist, and more than likely to do whatever she feels best suits her needs at that given moment.
  Likes: Music, sweets, darkness, dry senses of humor, privacy.
  Dislikes: Bright lights, bitter flavors, stereotypes (that pertain to herself), overly nosy individuals.

• Abilities & Weaknesses

  Shape Shifting -
  The Banshee has the ability to take one of three forms at any given time. The first being the one she appears as most often - Deidre, a young woman. The second form she can take is that of an old woman, cloaked in white gauze-y fabric. The second form is rarely seen and almost never associated with Deidre, meaning that they share no similar physical attributes whatsoever other than both being female (and having faces, I suppose). Lastly, the true Banshee form that Glycerine can take is rather smoke-like, though it is corporeal. If this form is seen, the person who sees it will soon die.
  
  Flight -
  While in Banshee form only, she has the ability to fly/float through the air at two times her running speed.
  
  Scream -
  While having no actual effect upon living beings, the Banshee's scream notifies anyone within hearing range that a death is imminent. The scream itself does not cause death; it only signals that one will be occurring within a twenty-four hour period. This ability is not like a normal scream. This means that if she raises her voice, or yells at someone, it does not mean someone will soon die. A true Scream is something that is not easily ignored or mistaken for simply raising her voice.
  
  Weaknesses
  
  Bright Light -
  While not a nocturnal creature, Glycerine will avoid overly bright lights because they will reveal her for what she truly is. For example, if a flash of lightning happened near her one would be able to see "through" her.
  
  Reflective Surfaces - She has no desire to gaze upon herself. Her reflection is simply a reminder that no one really wants to gaze upon her true form.
  
  Physical Beauty - Yes, this is listed as a weakness! Glycerine has a penchant for pretty faces, both male and female. Someone who is pretty/handsome enough can easily manipulate her.
  
  Iron - Like all fae, the Banshee has a poor reaction to iron. It burns her flesh and generally pisses her off.
