Gregory was found as a child abandoned after a war of Reapers and Demons by a female reaper from Austria. She raised him as her own, bearing no ill feelings towards demon kind in general.
However Gregory ignored his mother's attempts to raise him to behave civilly. As a child he first found his sadistic nature in harming animals and bugs and as he grew into a teenager he began to chose human victims.
While his mother knew of the animals she didn't know he had moved onto bigger prey. When she found out she was disgusted and tried to make him see reason, to make him stop his cruel acts. But the young adult took no heed to his mother and instead chose to leave her, moving out and to a medium village town in Germany.
While in the village he met Aiva Hofmann, beautiful young woman and daughter of a farmer. She sold her family's crops in the village market and made decent money. Her looks made people curious, and they came with her, wondering if her voice matched her beauty and indeed it did. Once in a conversation with the young woman, she was able to use her charismatic charms to convince people to buy some of her wares.

It wasn't long before Gregory and Aiva were in love and living in a small apartment in the village. To date Aiva is the only person Gregory did not plan on harming, though she did not know of his evil deeds. He often would hide them from her. He relished in his secret, finding enjoyment in murdering the poor in back allies and coming home to the woman he called his bride. They weren't married, but told everyone they were to avoid scandal.
In the following winter, only months after living together Aiva became ill with a persistent flu and was bedridden. When the town's doctor gave Gregory the news that he should not expect Aiva to live much longer Gregory went in search for means of curing his lover.
He found help in a black magic user by the name of Morgana, a witch that lived in the outskirts of the farmland much like his own mother that adopted him only 30 years earlier.

The witch had only one price, that he became hers for three days nights and then bring Aiva to her for curing. Though Gregory loved his wife, sleeping with another woman gave him no guilt and he was eager to do it. And so she slept with her, under a spell that lasted three days and nights. On the fourth day Gregory could not remember the precise events of his fling. Unbeknownst to him he had been seduced into giving Morgana full rights to Aiva and any child that he gave to Morgana during their three days.
The witch healed Aiva as promised but took her and hid her away from Gregory. Morgana then had Gregory's daughter, a tool now being used to collect souls for her black magic.
Gregory has since been in the business of collecting women. He buys them, or grabs them off the street. The younger the better. He then enslaves them or uses them for his own gain. Occasionally he will fall in love with one, but this doesn't stop him from inflicting pain on her. Instead, loving her only ensures that she only escape the hell he puts her through will be death.
Recently, thanks to karma he has managed to get himself captured another demon. A fallen angel by the name of Lucian keeps a close watch on Gregory to make sure he doesn't harm anyone else. Gregory admits to Lucian that he's fallen in love much with the fallen angel much to his confusion. Why would he fall in love with someone who doesn't let him destroy them?
In the mean time, Gregory happily annoys his new master by creating chaos at every turn but is anticipating the return of the witch who betrayed him, now that his daughter has been set free upon the Earth to gather souls for Morgana's sinister plot.
