  Full Name: Vitali Armannd Vilhjalmsson.
  Son Of: Odhinn Vilhjalmsson and Oksana.
  Brother Of: Eidys. Half blood.
  Age: þrír tigir ok fjórir. Thirty-four.
  Origins: Born along the shores of Nes, Iceland, Scandinavia during the winter months.
  
  Species': Rangifer tarandus (Caribou) x Panthera tigris tigris (Bengal tiger).

  Vitali is not simply a mix of normal, mammalian creatures, but a being of old magics, regardless of his mortality.
  The hybrid is most closely related to dryads and belongs to the domain of cold and winter. He fancies himself a frost nymph, and while he has never had his full lineage divulged to his person, he maintains that he is most comfortable in frostbitten climates - nay, that he has a deep resistance to the cold. As any supernatural creature, he does not come without limited 'abilities', if you will: [1] to materialize ice and snow in any form without resting on 'spells' of any sort & [2] to transform into a snowy owl....

  
  General Colouring: Pale and faded, full of whites and creams. Leucistic, if that.
  

  Elaboration: on body colours and style.

  • Hair - A cream hue fit to mimic any over-milked cup of coffee.
    The hair atop his head is often slicked back, but it is not uncommon to see him with a mane trimmed so finely that it is but a layer of velvet stubble. His facial and body hair are always changing and up for interpretation on any given day.
    
  • Eyes - A light green, as the mistletoe berry, bearing the faintest white ring around the pupil.
    
  • Fur and patterning - The majority of his coat is white; not the purest, but perhaps a bit off, and it is socked through, from head to toe, with stripes which match his hair. A single marking runs from the inner corner of his right eye, along his nose, to stop mid-way and branch off to mimic limbs growing from a tree on his cheek, and a natural eyeshadowing occurs at a darker shade to bring out the brightness of his eyes. His fur is thickest at his ankles, his tail, his chest and neck, his wrists, and his shoulders. Finally, his horns, expansive as they are, are coated in a dark velveteen similar in hue to his eyeshadowing.
    
  • Skin - An off-white which makes a mottled transition into a too-pale pink at his extremities and his nose.

  
  General Build: Proportionately strong without appearing too far above average. He is no overpowered viking, but he makes due with a healthy body.

  Occupational Status: By trade, Vitali is both a fisherman and a toymaker.
  His years spent in Nes easily enabled him to become familiar with his father's trade. He is an expert in the knowledge of the local fish of his home, how to gut and otherwise cook a fish, and has spent time researching sea life. For the majority of a given year, fish sales keep him and his sister from wanting. It is because of this trade that they are rarely keen to travel inland.
  
  ...However, a mother of craft and a surrounding space of trees and cold, necessary to their better health, gave them another means of making a living. Whittling turned into precision carving, which turned into a desire to learn how to socket the pieces; eventually, Vitali became a creator of pose-able figures, but his favorite was the Nutcracker, which he often designed to mimic those he knew. It wasn't until his sister's arrival and subsequent interest in other hobbies that his pieces gained a whole new life - color.
  
  Familial Status: Odhinn and Oksana are still alive and well, choosing to remain in Nes for what is left of their days; it is what they know and what they love.

  Astridr Hinriksdottir - it was the name of Odhinn's mistress.
  
  Oh, this happened later in Vitali's life; he had just turned fourteen at the time, and was wholly unaware of his father's trespasses. Still, it came at a point when Vitali would feel the sting of Odhinn's infidelity at full force, and his mother would feel it more so. However, it was not simply this disloyalty that hurt their hearts, but the span of time it had crossed. For three years, perhaps out of shame or pity on the unwed Astridr, Odhinn was the bread bringer for two families, for his mistress had given birth to a girl; a girl he introduced to Vitali and Oksana as Eidys. Vitali fell in love with Eidys instantly, which almost meant forgiving father for all of his misgivings, but Oksana was not so impressed. Yet, her heart was not made of ice, as she sometimes claimed of Odhinn, and when it was explained to her that Astridr was growing more ill by the day, she made the effort to remain a positive soul by accepting Astridr into their home, where the woman was cared for until the final thread of life was taken from her.
  
  Eidys does not remember these days, and has never been told she is only Vitali's half-sister. Instead, she has been allowed to stay ignorant to these facts, and is just as so with her differing physical traits. Regardless of their differences and the story that is behind them, Vitali and Eidys are inseparable, as Vitali saw to that upon meeting his sister. From those days on, he was overprotective - perhaps to make up for his father's own inability to be true.
  
  Their story may be no grand tale to tell, but they are relatively simple folk, and simple folk have a simple history.
