His was an appearance that one could easily overlook.
He was neither too tall nor particularly short at 5'5" with a physique that was slight and unimposing. He had brown hair unevenly cut that whisped and waved in different directions, untamed yet clean. His face was youthful with angular features. Unlike the rest of him, his eyes were startling. The shape was unusual, large but upturned and a little slanted with a startling gold hue. More peculiar yet were the faint gold freckles that peppered his olive-toned skin. The man was aloof, his demeanor sleepy. The faint hint of poppies lingered in his presence along with the quiet sense that something was not altogether right.
