• Biography

  Jennifer was a smart child, born to a rich father and mother. Her father worked long hours, and so she spent most of her time with her mother, whom she loved dearly. Her mother would help with her homework, and her father would glance at the report card and pat her on the head when she got all A's and punish her when she got anything less.
  When she was 8, her mother grew ill and died.
  Suddenly, Jennifer was thrust into her father's world. One day he got home earlier than usual and saw her doing her homework. He was furious because she was writing with her left hand. Mr. Black had told his wife to train it out of Jen, and he thought she had. Her father hired a private tutor to correct her, telling her to use any means to rid his daughter if this weakness. If he himself caught her writing with her left-hand he would hit her left arm with whatever he had handy. Coming in from riding one day, he saw her writing in her journal. He angrily strode up and as she dodged to get out of the way, he brought his riding crop down, missing her arm, and leaving a large gash across her forehead.
  
  Shortly after this, child services took her away and she was placed in the system, where she was often bullied and beaten by those around her.
  Soon she stopped speaking and spent most of her time wandering the woods or city, depending on where her present foster house was.
  
  At 16, Jennifer ran away with a boy from school, who soon abandoned her, lost and alone. She has spent the last 3 years on the street, doing odd jobs she can, and helping those worse off than herself, when she can. She has become cunning and is working to build a device that could alter her future, but as she had limited access to anything (living out of a box will do that), the project is taking a long time.
