❯➤ Joys’ body type is a lithe yet slightly muscled built while he has defined, sharp facial features that are slender yet elegant in appearance.
He has deep-set downturned brown eyes with a blue ring in the iris and luscious eyelashes. Joys has high cheekbones, freckles, warn autumn brown skin ,and sharp-but-slightly thin lip features— the color being a natural albeit slightly darker tone. Joys' hair is a deep brown color that is a thick, voluminous, and curly. His hair is parted in the middle and tied in a low-hanging, loose pony-tail; he grows out his bangs.
When it comes to his clothing, he like to mix formal and casual styles together where the casual clothes themselves are of hipster variety.

The MEMVIN (Memuin) are a forgotten alien race who’ve abandoned their home planet eons ago. Unlike most living species, the Memuin did not possess physical bodies yet instead had astral bodies. Their astral forms had mystical abilities that varied from one Memuin to another, typically this is due to the pure nature of their astral form. However, to contain their forms in their migration, the Memuin often adapted their forms to elements or intelligent lifeforms. This changing of their astral form into a physical form would become permanent, often irreversible, and caused unknown deviancies of their original mystic abilities.
In their long migration, a number of Memuin travelled to Earth during the times of Ancient Rome. In order to conceal themselves, the alien species moved to different regions on the planet and assimilated their form to match the locals. Undetected, the humanoid Memuins eventually courted human lovers and would offspring Memuin-Human hybrids. These hybrids would appear human yet be granted the astral abilities like their Memuin parents, yet their human forms did affect the usage of their abilities. Eventually throughout the years, the blood-lines of the hybrid Memuin began to thin out in which their ancient power and people became mythical and family legend. Only few modern Memuin families search for other Memuin blood in hopes to reclaim their ancestral power.
The Memuin originally did not have a written language, so when they arrived on Earth, they transcribed their people's name into the Latin alphabet making the original spelling of their name as MEMVIN (meh•MEOO•n). Over time, when Latin adopted new letters, the Memuin updated their name to phonically match the "U" sound.

It would be years to know if this child will be like his ancient ancestors, if he would be truth to his family’s secret heritage. However, it takes no time for his parents Meridian and Camila to love him before he is anything and for when he is someone. On the evening of October 19 20AA, Joys Faire takes his first breath of life and he is perfect.
“He’s precious. Mi hijito.” Camila soothes as she looks onward to her son as she lays in a hospital bed, her husband sitting next to her as he leans towards his family. Their baby boy has his mother’s complexion while it is easy to see that the little tuffs hair will be curly like his father’s. Camila loves his chubby cheeks and his strong grip. She loves his button nose and thick lashes. She loves everything about her baby boy.
“My son, your son. Our sun.” Meridian comments as he pets his infant son’s head, taking in how delicate his son is and all the potential his son will grow up to be. Although, it’s not Joys’ potential as a hero but as a person whose path is unknown and unwritten. His parents have long since decided that it’s not their quirk lineage they wanted their son to feel obligated to gain. No, such expectations have long since resulted in disappointment and bitterness for those in quirk marriages. They want Joys to grow with no false hopes of discovering his quirk or believe he needs to have it.

As the years go by, Joys is a happy little boy who enjoys his small understanding of the world and his parents eventually adopt a dog for the family. They've always wanted a family pet and what's a great friend to a child than a furry companion?
〘Childhood〙
❯➤ Years: 20EE-20LL (5-12)
Neither he nor his parents expected it to happen, Joys didn’t even know it could happen. On July 4th, the seven year old had drew fireworks into existence! This happened after the child wanted to see more fireworks for the night, after the grand finale cleared in the night sky.
“Mama! Papa! I wanna see more!" A sleepy Joys claims in his tired state, holding onto a small plush of his favorite hero as the family walks to their car. He looks back at the sky, seeing the smokey residue blend into night, hiding the stars. Reaching out in the air he absently draws out a happy face with the stars he can see.
Out of reminisce, he mouths a "Boom" as if the smile face he made was a firework too. And then suddenly, it did. Little sparks of fire burned and popped following the pattern Joys drew, surprising the family as a whole.
Meridian was first to react as he grabs his wife and child away from the flares. “Mon Dieu! What was that?!” The father cries out from confusion as he holds Joys onto his hip, looking at his wife for answers. Camila is just as confused as her husband and she shakes her head unsure.
"I- I think that was me." Joys quietly stated, looking at was he's sure he had caused. Recreating the scene, he drew another picture in the air, and this time, said "Boom!"
And just like before, the picture the boy made popped and fizzled like a firework. His parents watch in awe because their son had unlocked his quirk! Joys got his quirk! And it was quite flashy too! With great pride Meridian spins his son around in a happy and joyous manner.
"Well done my boy! How special are you to create such beautiful sparks! C'est merveilleux!" Meridian praises, hugging and kissing the top of his son's head. Camila joins in to swipe her son away from her husband to also share in the glee.
"¡Estamos muy orgullosos y felices por ti!" She exclaims in delight, Joys feeling incredibly happy and excited seeing his parents this happy.
That night, Joys parents knew they had to explain to their son that he couldn't be using his quirk mindlessly That night, Joys learned that he and his family had to learn what triggered his quirk and the restraints it could have. The following days after, Meridian and Camila had to test what Joys could do and what it meant for his own safety. They had to see when his powers activated and how he could be careful with his powers. They found out that Joys' abilities were not at all infinite, and actually are fueled from the natural minerals and elements in his body. They made sure Joys carried more than enough concentrated vitamins and supplements on his person should he ever need them.
For the next few years, Meridian and Camila would help Joys understand his powers to where they eventually were able to figure his abilities and the limits he had with them. As he ages, Joys begins to wonder what it would be like to become a hero and begins to look up as the stellar heroine, Ms Galatic — the pro hero who has a solar flare quirk.

❯➤ Years: 20MM-Current (13-16)
At thirteen, Joys has gotten a clear understanding of how his powers work. He definitely loves his quirk as the colorful bursts he can create can be so enchanting, especially when he focuses on the elements used for pyrotechnics. However, when he eats more combustible and reactive elements, their fuse has a more uncontrolled explosive reaction. In training, his teachers have gotten him to practice moving his lines after he's drawn them and to test how many constellations he can create before they all automatically set off.
Joys still struggles to move his constellations however he's able to draw three separate constellations that he can still command to explode. The number of points in his constellations depends on how grand a scale of an explosion Joys is aiming for and how much elements he has in his reserves. The teen doesn't find it beneficial to waste much of his resources on a extravagant drawing as drawing it takes time. A villain isn't going to wait for him to finish drawing and would instead take Joys out while he drew.
When Joys is 16, his parents allowed for him to participate in his school's student exchange program. Before heading off, his mother gives her son a suggestion on picking "Astrodiac" as his superhero name — Joys feels embarrassed having his mom pick his hero name but it sounds better than what he made, Constellart. As an exchange student, Joys' program doesn't allow him to participate in the Japanese hero exam but still participate in hero courses and observe the heros of Japan.
The school he attends is Isamu Academy High School and Joys is able to communicate to others in Japanese after the help of a linguist quirk user. The linguist user is able to swap languages of people at their choosing and Joy's chose to switch his English with Japanese, knowing his parents would feel slighted if he gave up either French or Spanish. This language swap fully removed his ability to remember English, as he can no longer speak or read it.

❯➤ Joys' is a courteous and passive teen who is quick to become anxious or easy to scare. He likes to think positively despite fearing exaggerated scenarios, many resulting from his love of horror films. When he becomes too frazzled he'll stumble on his words mixing up his familial languages. He's often subtle to using his powers in daily life, whenever he finds it useful but does avoid overuse. Joys is quite open to befriending others but can be awkward if unsure how to proceed in a conversation.
He loves to talk about books with his favorite genres being adventure, fantasy, and historic fictions. Joys also loves to play various types of games such as cards games, board games, and video games. Dispite him prone to fright, Joys is a thrill seeker who does like to take the more adventurous or adrenaline pumping route. He loves animals and wishes to be a veterinarian one day.

Joys has the ability to draw mini star constellations within the air and be able to detonate them like bombs, fireworks, or mini supernovas. Joys' quirk is actually his personal manifestation of astrokinesis but at a smaller scale. When he draws, he is actually releasing star-like elements that he can manipulate to explode or implode like real stars, but the detonations are not cosmically catastrophic to Earth. Eating or absorbing minerals and natural elements can affect the type of emissions Joys' forms.

He loves baseball, is an avid reader for many news outlets, and loves to teach his son about their French heritage. His parents are the ones who've introduced him to his wife Camila, after they were certain they've found another Memuin family. The two were in their early twenties when they met and would take things slowly, starting off as friends. The two eventually hit hit off and married.

❯➤ Joys' Mexican-American Mother; Originally Camila Salcido, Camila used to live in Virginia before moving to Massachusetts to marry her would be future husband. Majoring her education in journalism, Camila is an editor for her home's local newspaper. She loves to work on puzzles like word searches or sudoku, other times she'll relax with coloring books or draw. She was introduced to her husband after his parents were delighted of her quirk, believing a child of their could manifest a unique quirk. Her quirk is Animation, where her drawings can come into motion.

The teen thinks the information is cool despite not understanding a lot of the science behind it. He prefers to watch the subject in videos compared to reading the material, that way he can see what's being explained rather than read it. He prefers veterinary studies more as he wishes to be a veterinarian one day.

❯➤ Joys prefers to exercise often using aerobics, pilates, and yoga as his main routines. Otherwise he'll turn to jogging with Pepper (his pit-bull), he finds it motivating to run to a zombie apocalypse jogging app.
❯➤ Originally to be ironic, Joys used star glitter to dab over the bridge of his nose and cheeks like the hipster pictures he's seen online. He sent a snapshot of this to his friends who did find it funny, but unsurprisingly fitting. Embarrassed, Joys agreed that he did like the look on him.
