    Kyanos' fire is the result of eating natural rock (usually limestone, basalt, and rhyolite) cycling the materials during the digestive process, wherein peristalsis grinds and heats the leftover sediment, while the gases are stored in a pocket near the esophagus where it can be ignited at high concentration and expelled out through the mouth and nostrils. The rocks themselves are an additional defensive measure as they can be violently regurgitated as molten bedrock, or in the case of metals, purified ore.
