• Rikhuasii Species Info/Facts

  All Touching foreheads is like kissing to them. Making out is like their sex .. After a gestation period, eggs are expelled from the mouth. They are omnivorous. However their true diet is unknown and seems to be whatever they set a fancy on. Pure sugary confections are also an option. They can drool slime. Glowing, sky blue slime. (Unknown yet if each has a different color?) Sexual dimorphism is purely based on BRIGHT. The entire species concept of sex and gender is based on how brightly they glow and how they identify. They have green blood. They are breast-less. They have special pouches in their mouths to store the baby-makin' stuff in the inside of their cheeks. PUFFY CHEEKS during mating season. They get heavier at breeding time because of slime production. Can lay (Spit out) eggs. - Eggs are kept in a special pouch after being swallowed, somewhere in the abdomen. After the eggs are layed (Spit out, essentially), someone babysits them. Doesn't matter who. Their bones are quite light. Polyamorous. They will settle for bonding with one of their own kind- but do share. Their tails are quite strong. Most likely due to muscle. And the fact that they're almost as twice as big as their body. Can be quite valuable. The slime they produce can have many uses! One of which is medicinal use! They have a habit of preening. Dislike being dirty. Mud, dirt, food spills- ew. However they have no issues with cleaning or licking up slime. Can't fertilize eggs with a creature not of their own species. Just can't. It's useless. But they can LAY them. Most likely take a bit of offense to individuals who kiss in public, due to the nature of their own culture. The ring upon their horns can be used like musical glasses.. In a sense. Each has their own tuning/tone. They can't handle strong alcohol well. Sometime in/after 'mating season' they HAVE to lay eggs at some point, otherwise it can get dangerous for them. Not all eggs make it. Some end up as duds, probably most of the time. They eat the eggs that don't make it. They have chosen to give gender differences based on non-sexual characteristics. They have long tongues. They blush purple! With the little ones, they need protecting but not raising. From the moment they emerge into the world they run on instinct and start to figure things out on their own. Sometimes the young need help, but for the most part, parents are only there to make sure they don't get snacked on. Like to give gifts. Do their best to respect other individuals' customs/rituals 'Fae Sub-type'?? Alien?? (WIP, please patience) Most Likely Fae Prolonged exposure to iron can cause burns They cannot and will not lie. Instead, they will stay silent if they must.	"Female" Rikhuasii Are a bit duller in color. Tend to rule. Are stronger than males. Can be vicious protectors. Generally do the working/currency earning Tend to injure their 'pair-bonded' one. It's a 'show of love'. Can/Will fight with their own kind over a potential 'mate'.	"Male" Rikhuasii Are brighter in color. Will quickly make way to ensure their partner's happiness. Generally gentle. Find food, usually Tend to be very nurturing Quite literally 'fight for survival' with their 'Pair-bonded' one.
