• Personality

  Madison is a rather laid back person in general; having been around for so long, she kind just takes the days as they come and refuses to let a smile be slapped off of her face due to someone's incompetence. She’s of course not perfect and from time to time will explode if pushed far enough; during this time usually it's best to be a good friend of hers rather than an enemy because she really doesn’t take death all too seriously even though she… Really should.
  
  Besides all that, she’s a pretty sarcastic person, loves pushing people's buttons for reactions, and definitely isn’t afraid to lose some feathers for some adventure. She’s loyal to friends and often likes to take power in a group when it comes to things due to a bad past with terrible leaders. If she isn’t in control she feels at a loss, but if she’s reassured the leader of the group she’s thrown into isn’t a terrible leader she’ll quickly loosen up and follow along gleefully.

• Appearance

  Height: 5’9”
  
  Hair: Blonde, falls straight down her back, if it’s wet it gets rather wavy.
  
  Eyes: Dark green with a gold outline.
  
  Face: Pale with colorful freckles; she has double the pair of pointy ears and wears a lot of jewelry she’s collected over the years because they were shiny and it’s a dragon's job to protect their treasure. Her face is a rounded shape with a pointy beak-like nose.
  
  Body: Curvy with a muscular build.
  
  Skin: Pale with colorful freckles here and there-- often when she’s changing back you’ll see a lot of feathers sticking out, they take quite some time to shed.
  
  Markings: Her freckles are her markings, besides a few scars of course. She may look kind but she has had her fair share of wars.
  
  Clothing: Has a long and colorful kimono that matches with her feathers, very often you’ll see her wearing it when taking form of something similar to a human. She likes having it flow behind her; due to her height in asia it was custom made from a village when she was around 500 years old.

• Abilities | Powers

  Giant Bladed Fan: She isn’t really known to be a magical demon, she’s more or so known for her ability to fight. She carries a large, bladed fan with her wherever she goes in case a battle follows suit. It can cut through trees if she swings it hard enough. It’s kinda bad at producing a lot of wind though seeing that it’s more for fighting than cooling. She does carry around double fans with her- she can coat them in potions and create smog that can both put people to sleep and end their lives.
  
  Translator: She’s been to a lot of places due to her history with her parents and the need for adventures. Because of this little known fact she’s learned a lot of languages; her main being French.
  
  Charms: Madison learned to read and write at a very young age, because of this her father taught her the next step; Charms. These often help her get out of sticky situations, and are just fun in general to mess with because they’re very good for pranks on friends.
  
  Speed: Her father was known as a powerful wind demon, his wings known to knock over the strongest of armies. Of course that is a overly dramatized version of it but he was able to knock over a large amount of opponents with a flap of his wings if he made it purposeful. Because of his ability, Madison gained the ability of speed; she can run, fly, and walk pretty fast but she choses not to half the time because it uses a lot of energy and who likes running??

• Background

  Madison was born in a small village located in northern France around the late 1000s, she grew up in a town consisting mostly of humans so she really had no hate towards them growing up; they loved her for her bright colors and personality and she loved them because they would bake her snacks and call her the town angel. This town was very open to sharing with demons mainly because Beltran, her father, grew up in the area when he was younger; his father protected the town along side him. He decided to move back when he met Clerissa to start a family. Of course since Clerissa is a little stingy and cruel, she didn’t trust the humans. Sometimes pastries made by the friendly villagers would be thrown away and the young blonde was scolded for snacking on them. It wasn’t until the late 1100s that Clerissa decided to take her family and leave. They traveled from France to what we now know today as Germany, Poland, Russia, and China. They didn’t reach Japan until about 20 years later when Madison was around 120 years of age. (She looked around 10).
  
  The Japanese half the time were welcoming with their trade, the other half of the time they despised them due to the inhuman appearances. Madison would be the pack mule and carry all of their home supplies while they searched for a village to stay in for about a year. After some time searching they finally found a place to call home, in return they promised the village protection from the outside world. Now, during this time, Clerissa had been running a business. She made clothing from hand, very beautiful pieces of clothing, and she had to shift styles as they moved along Eurasia. She couldn’t quite get with the Japanese fashion however, and because of this she feared losing the money they had. So, she started trafficking her daughter. Without Beltran knowing of course, she had tricked the young blonde into thinking that it was okay, that what the men were buying was simple and innocent and they just wanted to spend time with her cause she was “so pretty”. Due to this however, Madison started to be reliant on customers and her mother’s compliments to find herself beautiful, and would often find herself going to sleep at night worried on if she did well or not instead of if what she was doing was right or not.
  
  When she reached her late 100s, her father was finally thrown in on the deal, which crashed Clerissa’s business. Instead of acceptance, he found rage. A fight broke out due to that rage and Clerissa ended up losing more than just her money; she lost her life. Beltran took care of Madison on his own after that, as an apology for not finding out sooner he promised that he would do what he could to make up for the lost time, to make up for that time he wasn’t a “good enough father”. So a new business was brought up; one where the bird man and his daughter would travel around edo japan selling strange weapons and inventions the older tinker would make. When she was 200, she got her first bladed fan, and since then has been upgrading it per her father’s request. Present day; the blonde is more or so adventuring now, her father spending his days as a bird demon in the village she grew up in wishing he could go home to France; they both have made many friends over the years however, and welcome Japan as their home now. They’ve been in groups, wars, and have even met a few powerful demons here and there. Madison is living her life as a dragon enjoying the days as they come to her.
