  • The Altean language is something similar to Japanese. I will use translators when using it. This comes from the headcanon that Marth's kingdom is foreign, which derives from the fact we didn't get his game in the Americas or Europe for a long, long time. Even his quotes on the Smash series, one of the first English games to feature him, are Japanese. As such, Japanese is headcanoned to be Marth's native (Altean) language. English is a close second.
