• Description

  Melissa is a very beautiful woman, bursting with health and energy. Her goal: to destroy anyone, and anything on her path to vengeance.
  She is well trained in the use of many blade weapons, as well as skilled in killing using more... original methods. Having been born and raised in Siberia, Melissa is almost immune to cold, and hasn't ever had so much as a fever.
  She is very meticulate and careful, always taking things to the very end, making sure not to leave any clues of her attack behind. Before anyone realizes she was there - she is already gone.
  Melissa is also a born actress - she has carefully picked and prepared characters she uses in different situations - a scared tourist in one city, an elegant woman of importance in another. Each and every one of her personalities is refined and practiced through so well, once she puts on her mask, you can't tell she was an entirely different person beforehand.
  What Melissa cannot do, however, is change her hair colour. Due to her pride, she doesn't want to dye the silvery strands, and believes wigs are far too fake. Besides, she realizes her face is far too recognizeable should she start showing it around.
  So what she came up with, is simple: No one, ever, sees her face. Should it be a hat, a scarf or even a cloak, Melissa always makes sure to keep her face hidden. The only ones she allows to see her face are her victims - right before she, quite literally, takes their breath away.
  
  Even though she takes so much precaution to never be seen (so much as to not even have a single friend or family member she would keep contact with), rumors around her spread. Since no one ever saw her, she is called Syrena, after the mythological greek Syrens. Just as them, she lures her prey in with silky words and elegant moves... Only to silence them at the best moment, unseen.

• Biography

  Melissa was born in the forest of Siberia - both her parents had been sent there to live in exhile. Condemned to live in the harsh lands,both her parents cuffed their sleeves and got to work. They secluded themselves from the rest, to find places uninhibited where they believed they had bigger chances of finding food. They were in luck: accidentally, they stumbled upon a crystal-clear creek, lazily rolling across a clearing in the pinewoods.
  Determined, the two started their own little life there, building a small lodge and starting to grow whatever they could in these unforgiving lives. Soon, they had Melissa, and her five other younger siblings.
  
  When Melissa was seven, one of the people that had been sent to Siberia together with her father also accidentally stumbled across the clearing, and found Melissa's lodge. In his fury that the family had created their own little world, not sharing what little they had, the man, blinded with rage, ran at the lodge to steal anything that came into his hands. Melissa's father saw this, and attempted to stop this. Since Melissa's father was much stronger than the other, he accidentally put too much strength in his push to keep the other away, causing him to fall and crack his head over a jagged rock. Once the other sfrom his village realized what he had done, they came in plentiful to destroy Melissa's family life as revenge.
  Unable to help, unable to stop them, Melissa could only fling herself into the bushes as her parents ordered her too, and hope she wouldn't be seen. Luckily, no one knew just how many children her parents had - and even if they did, their rage blinded their reasoning, therefore they didn't even attempt to look for her.
  After they left the clearing, it was a few hours until Melissa finally left the bushes, trembling, but alive. After the first shock passed, and reasoning returned, Melissa vowed to avenge her parents and kill those responisble for this murder.
  
  So she trained herself in the art of stealth and weaponry. Animals were her first target - after mastering the art of hunting, Melissa travelled to the nearby village to kill those responsible. She didn't stop until the last human dropped to her feet within a kilometers radius from where she stood. But that wasn't enough for her blood thirst. She blamed the ones in power for the fact they had the life they had led - a life of poverty and hunger.
  
  And so, Melissa's journey began.
