Migisi

Migisi in her human shape is as normal as any other person may be, she's obviously of Native American descent. Her hair is dark as night, and her eyes while brown in her human form are bright and sharp. She is of average height and build but she is most definitely not average, she's lost her accent most often but can speak several languages.

Misigi was born in the 1800s to a small Native American tribe, she was born during a thunderstorm one of the fiercest her tribe had ever seen. It is said that lightning struck Misigi upon her first cries into the world and that it sealed her fate to be the thunderbird of her tribe.

As a young child she first discovered her otherself, the mythical thunderbird. It was hard for her growing up, the challenge of learning to be a servant of the Great Spirit while simultaneously protecting her tribe was one of the hardest lessons she ever had to learn. But learn she did, and for nearly a century she protected her kinsmen. Watching over them and driving storms at their enemies.

But time destroys all things and one morning she woke to find the last of her tribe was dead and gone. It was that morning that she brewed the biggest storm she ever had, sending tornadoes and lightning across most of her world until she expelled all of her grief. Now she is just a legend, a myth to most people. Still she sometimes swoops into protect the few true tribal people she finds rare though they are.

The thunderbird is a legendary creature that is considered a bird of power and strength. Its name comes from the fact that the beating of its enormous wings causes thunder and stirs the wind. It is described as a large bird, capable of creating storms and thundering while it flies. Clouds are pulled together by its wingbeats, the sound of thunder made by its wings clapping, sheet lightning the light flashing from its eyes when it blinks, and individual lightning bolts made by the glowing snakes that it carries around with it.

It is often depicted as multi-colored, with two curling horns and often teeth within its beak but Migisi does not have any of those traits. She does however have the ability to shoot lightning from her eyes.

Migisi is thought to reside on the top of a mountain and is the servant of the Great Spirit, she is the last surviving Thunderbird of her tribe and currently travels the world without much rhyme or reason.
