• Foreword

  Wondering what a temporal cycle is? Well, it's sorta something that doesn't really have a word but at best it's described as a progression of time...sideways. For example, let's say that the entirety of the universe was shrunk down into a book. Linearly, you could read back to forth but from a non-subjective and non-linear point of view a being of a 4th dimension or higher can read the book any which way or even stop on the same page. But for them, progression is a bit more complicated than the linear movement of time. Time as a dimension is rather tangible to them like that book that was mentioned. But time still moves, and a temporal cycle is when all the events within a timeline has completed a turn. Even time travel is subject to this, though they have more wiggle room as they could literally visit the same day over and over but each time they visit something different happens. For gamers, it's a bit easier to show. Let's say you're playing a game, like an rpg. After finishing it, you play it again; but this time something different happened. Same storyline, same universe, but not the same events and happenings as before. That is the essence of a temporal cycle. The same day happens again, but not always the same way.
