  She was not a heavenly beauty or a renowned wit but her voice was enchanting. Hair colored of angry oceans with eyes as pale as tepid pools. Dressed for adventure; her healthy curves peeked from a chemisette exposing flesh at the shoulders and wrist. A lavish velvet bodice in royal blue hugged her frame in ways best described as tantalizing, jewels dangled from it where it draped over her hips hiding the hug of leather over her rump. Dark fitted trousers tucked into high boots that cut at the knee with only a minor heel. A white wool cape with brocade lining hung over her shoulders helping to hide a Venetian sword and stiletto at her belt. The same gem hung at her throat, ever lingering as the scent of wild flowers upon her skin.
