• History

  The clan that Onachi was born into resides in isolation within an eastern forest. They are very reserved and very rarely travel or communicate with outsiders. Their religion is their priority. Their lore consists of multiple gods, all of which they worship for individual purposes. Masks are a very important aspect of their worship. All of the adults wear them to keep themselves close to their gods and it is seen as disrespectful to remove it completely.
  
  Once the child reaches the age of fourteen, which is considered adulthood in their village, they are presented with a mask and are sent out into the forest to speak with the god that summons them. They are granted with a blessing within reason. Their given ability is only usable while they are wearing their designated mask, which is considered being in a state of worship.
  
  Onachi was born mostly blind. His sight is not completely black, but the most that he can see is the very blurry silhouette of things that are right in front of him. The concept of sight was such a mystical idea to him that when he wandered blindly into the forest and met with his god, he begged for the ability to see. Now everything is crystal clear to him, but only through the mask. The mask is basically his eyes. If it becomes set on the back of his head, he could see the things behind him. If it is removed however, he is blind again.
