  The truth is fleeting.
  
  If you have lived long enough, gained enough notoriety. Fact can become fiction and fiction can become fact. The truth however always remains, if you’re able to sort through the rubble.

  That she discussed the politics of heaven and hell with god and the devil.
  
  Battled Ares god of war for seven days and seven nights.
  
  From hidden records and ancients text we can safely assume part of Queen Jade’s history.
  
  CHAPTER LOST
  
  Before Human or even Elven records it was understood that the ancient Dragons ruled the old Highlands. Selas’ia Jade was Queen of ‘everything the sun’ touched. (The Sun is the famed ball of fire that supposedly hangs in the sky and warms the world above). She was renowned for her golden scales.
  
  CHAPTER LOST – TOPIC SELAS’IA JADE
  
  The Queen of Dragons only ever bore one clutch of eggs; seven in total, the last of the clutch was small and black. Selas’ia knew it was a runt and as was practice in those primordial days, pushed the egg off her mountain peek without thinking twice.
  Her other six eggs were lovely and golden. Eventually the Eggs hatched and six dragons were born.

  It was several days later that a tiny black dragon clawed its way back to the peak of the Mountain. Smaller than normal, with dull black and silver scales. She was considered malformed by the other dragons, though infants her brothers and sister knew enough to fear their tiny sister and as such mocked her mercilessly. Selas’ia sensed something special in her youngest child, and rather than kill her, she decided to raise her with the rest of the brood.
  
  Selas’ia named the child Oonora Liara Jade, Oonora Liara roughly translating to ‘Small dark girl of the mountains’.
  
  CHAPTER LOST
  
  Unlike the rest of her siblings, Oonora stayed smaller than average. Her brothers and sister flew through the skies their shimmering golden scales almost glowed like the sun. Oonora however was a small dark creature, though she lacked her brothers and sister’s strength, she was fast, her claws were powerful, though she wasn’t considered beautiful by other dragons, the elves and humans on the times marveled at her spectacular form. While her brothers and sisters had red and gold scales, Oonora had black and silver scales. As they grew older, they learnt how to breathe fire. Oonora couldn’t muster a single spark.
  
  Her body was long and sturdy, with two silver horns that curved behind her head, curling towards the ends. Her silver eyes were large and intelligent, black scales surrounded them and travelled in sharp lines down her face and short rounded muzzle.

  Around their one hundredth year the Children Jade (as they were known) began to fight each other for land and territory, as was practice in the archaic dragon clans. They sensed their mother’s time was near. Oonora wasn’t considered a threat. Though that didn’t stop her brothers and sisters from trying to take her land, Oonora stayed close to her mother, few dragons were allowed to die of old age and Oonora was determined to allow her mother that privilege. Her oldest brother was also the biggest; he attacked Oonora with fire, mocking her inability to create her own spark. It became his downfall, though she would never breathe fire, she developed the gift to breath electricity. She killed her brother and then in turn; the rest of her clutch. A----
  
  CHAPTER BURNT
  
  Finally nearing the end of her life Selas’ia imparted her last bit of wisdom to Oonora, the last of her children, the ability to shapechange, which all dragons could do, with age and the right amount of wisdom and magic.

  Together they worked for days, eventually Selas’ia succumbed to old age and Oonora took over as Queen of the World Above. (Though the world above was unrecognisable and ever changing) She locked herself away in her mother’s old den and when Oonora finally pushed away the large boulder protecting her, a dragon didn’t appear, but a human woman. Oonora had chosen a human form based on their resilience, not as beautiful or physically strong as the Elves, humans had a sort of tenacity that Oonora recongnised in herself.
  
  CHAPTERS LOST
  
  Humans rose to prominence, they built religions and cities and slowly the archaic races, Dragons, Elves Dwarves and Fae were forgotten. Oonora was the last dragon, unaging and undying. The Old races gathered together, they decided to leave the world above and forge a new home in the fabled Hollow Earth a realm that remained unchanged.
  
  CHAPTER LOST
  
  There is very little information regarding those dark days when the fabled creatures travelled to Hollow Earth. Few passages were left and most died during the trek downwards. At this point in history, it’s hard to track Oonora’s whereabouts there are mixed reports that she was in fact one of the pioneers that led survivors into Hollow Earth setting up the capital New Storm City in the process.
  
  There are others accounts more commonly spoken, that when the pioneers finally reached Hollow Earth Oonora was already there, waiting for her people to come back to her, the Dragon Queen Jade ever living.
