• Biography

  Oscar Trimble is the 2nd son of a successful engineer turned business owner. While during his youth Oscar was very happy to work with his father, making small, automated toys and tiny machines to power them, after his father's business took off Oscar's older brother became interested in the money-making aspect of invention and left the younger brother to play amongst himself. After his father joined his mother in their family plot, Oscar's older brother inherited their business and left the quiet scientist to live in an empty home owned by their mother's family, receiving a company salary so long as he stayed out of his brother's business. Oscar spent the next 8 years by himself in the house, calling upon private tutors for an education and relying on company workers to deliver necessities to his home far away from the city. During this time he grew increasingly lonesome, passing his time by building walking, talking machines that could do all sorts of menial tasks like sweeping the halls and tilling his expansive garden, but still Oscar was lonely.
  
  Apart from an aging cat named Mustard, Oscar grew fond of a little family of cardinals that lived in a tree on his lot. When their clutch hatched and gave life to a particularly sweet little cardinal, Oscar was pleased to have the song bird live in his garden. He grew quite accustomed to her song, to the point of relying on it to sleep, so when she passed before her time, Oscar was heartbroken and attempted to build something he'd never accomplished before.
  
  A living doll with an organic soul.
  
  After many months and countless hours slaving over alchemy texts and biomechanical physics journals, Oscar produced a machine so perfectly made to house the bird's soul that she came back to life in the form of his working doll. Since then he has never been alone, almost always attached to Orgelle, the little song bird turned almost human. Able to sing her song again, Oscar's dependance on her is nearly a case for a psychology text, but the both of them seem to want nothing more than eachother's company.
  
  About the only thing Oscar wants more than to spend time with Orgelle is that no one ever discover his invention, incase they were to take her away and turn her form into something that could be mass produced.
