Sig's rules and allowances as a character often coincide with what the roleplay allows.

Its back legs were covered in lavender scales that seemed to stand apart from its full coat of glossy, ebony scales. The creature's back paws were like a gryphon's talons and were tipped with long, dagger sharp claws that were a purple coloration. Each claw was about as monstrous as one would think of such a beast and forepaws were like a werewolf's paw-hands. A thick, purple mane is accented by its ebony body and its ears are long, black and pricked, much like an antelopes. Purple stripes marred the length of its form which ran from its back down to half length of its tail.

At least... that was what it was described as today...

In the life they had before their crossing the entity was known for its beautiful songs. The heralds rang from the deepest valleys and rolling plains. It was known to travel across settlements learning of the history and stories of the beings between the realms, but as with all adventurers their end came to a tragic halt as famine hit the war torn kingdoms it traveled.

With no food, or meat, the beast was hunted for their fur to warm the cradles of babes so they would not know the bitter sting of winter. Its grave was dug deep as there was naught but bones for the vultires. Offerings of instruments were left upon its grave, its name unknown. It had only been come to be recognized by a title: Σ

Shpeshifter Skills

Shift (Su): A Shapeshifter gains the ability to Shift into any creature of their choice that is of any Form that they know. The chosen creature can be any size from Fine to Colossal, but must be a natural creature of that type. For example a shapeshifter couldn't turn into a Dimunitive Red Dragon, because they cannot be that small. Psigma could however be a Medium Dire Rat, because they can be found that size. When they Shift they gain the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution ability scores of the chosen Form, or retain their own, whichever score is higher for each ability. For example if they Shift into a Brown Bear, they could take it's Strength and Constitution scores, but keep their own Dexterity. Shifting is a Standard action that doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity.

Forms Known: All Shapeshifters begin knowing how to Shift into any natural Humanoid Form, and any one bonus Form of their choice, chosen from the following list:
Bonus Forms— Aberrations, Animals, Dragons, Elementals, Fey, Giants, Magical Beasts, Monsterous Humanoids, Ooze, Outsiders, Plants, or Vermin.

Form Knowledge: They gained ultimate understanding of their chosen Forms. This allows them to use the Knowledge (Nature) skill to find information on them, as though they were using the appropriate Knowledge skill instead.
Improved Natural Attack: Further improving their mastery over their Forms, a Shapeshifter gains the ability to strengthen Natural attacks, permanently in all Forms. They gain Improved Natural Attack, for the type of their choice, as a Bonus Feat. For example, they may take Improved Natural Attack (Bite), (Claw), (Tentacle), or any other type they choose. Each type cannot be selected more than once.

Doppelganger: Mastering the art of disguise, they gain a bonus to Bluff and Disguise checks to blend in as the chosen Form.

Form Mutation: Their control over their chosen Forms have spawned growth in their body, granting they a Form Mutation from any given Form they currently possess. Once selected the Mutations are permanent, and can be used in any Shifted Form. Upon attaining 4th level and every four levels thereafter theeyy may select a new Form Mutation. The same Form Mutation may not be picked twice. The Form Mutations are as follows:

Aberration Mutation — Darkvision 60 Feet
Animal Mutation — Scent
Dragon Mutation — Immune to magic sleep effects, and paralysis effects
Elemental Mutation — Not subject to critical hits, or flanking
Fey Mutation — Immune to death effects, and does not age
Giant Mutation — +2 Strength, +2 Constitution, +1 Natural Armor
Humanoid Mutation — Bonus Feat
Magical Beast Mutation — Low-light Vision
Monsterous Humanoid Mutation — Proficiency with all Martial weapons
Outsider Mutation — Does not need to eat or sleep
Plant Mutation — Immune to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects)
Vermin Mutation — Immune to poison, and disease

Explosive Shift (Su): Once per day, they may make an Explosive Shift, allowing them to Shift into a more powerful Form than normal. They may Shift into any Form with a CR equal to, or less than their Shapeshifter Class level. This Shift consumes Shift points as normal, and lasts a number of rounds equal to 3 + their Wisdom bonus. They may use this ability once at 5th level, and one additional time every four levels thereafter.

Morphic Healing (Su): Starting at sixth level, a Shapeshifter gains the ability to reform portions of their bodies, removing damage. This ability functions similar to Regeneration, except that severed limbs cannot be reattached. Silver, Acid and Fire deal damage normally, treating all other damage as nonlethal. Severed limbs can be regrown in 2d6 rounds by spending 4 Shift points, or instantly by spending 8 Shift points.

Enhanced Shifting (Su): When Shifting, they may instead spend double a given Form's Shift points, to add the Forms physical strengths to theirs. Instead of assuming the Forms physical ability scores, they add the score -10 (for even scores) or -11 (for odd scores) to their own ability scores. For example, a Shapeshifter with a Strength score of 14 Shifts into a Dire Bat (Strength 18), and thus his new Strength score is 22. When using an Enhanced Shift they may add the Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, and Natural Armor bonuses of the chosen Form, to their own as long as they remain in that Form.

Flash Shift (Su): When Shifting, they may spend an additional 15 Shift points to Shift as an Free action, rather than a Standard action. They may instead choose to spend an additional 25 Shift points to Shift as an immediate action, rather than a Standard action. This may be done any number of times per round.

True Shapeshifter: Upon reaching level 20, they have completed their transformation into a completely metamorphous being. Their type changes to (Shapechanger), and their Forms can never be seen through, even with a True Seeing spell.

Armor Class: Natural armor improved.

Attack: The half-jinn gains (or retains) proficiency with all simple and martial weapons.

Full Attack: The half-jinn uses its natural or manufactured weapons for all attacks.

Special Attacks: A half-jinn retains all the special attacks of the base creature and gains the Change Size ability, which she can use twice per day. She also gains invisibility and speak with animals as spell-like abilities to be used once per day each and plane shift, which they can use once per week.

Special Qualities: A half-jinn retains all the special qualities of the base creature and gains darkvision out to 60 ft. and resistance to fire.

Feats: A half-jinn retains all the feats of the base creature and gains Improved Initiative as a bonus feat. They also learn to speak one elemental language (Auran) and one alignment language (Abyssal).

Shifters are much like humans. They are varied and tend to be a tad eccentric. Although they do not have the intense drive of the humans, they are much more intense than many of the other long-lived races. Shapeshifters are seen as emotionless to other races, but they are very social to their own race. They are very strong and often a bit slow on things because of their distant thinking habits. They are known to ignore most conversations with others, but always pay attention to any kind of tale. Shapeshifters hate money, but they love collecting. They are mostly seen in their animal forms collecting random objects, and for those (most) that are addicted to Gold are often found stealing. All races except humans and robots think that shapeshifters are stuck up and just quiet; so they are left to be lonely. Shapeshifters do not try to make friends, they just do as they please and live as they like. Demi-Humans seem to have a liking to them because of their relation ship to animals.

Shifters are nearly incapable of learning a new language, it is impossible for them to read any language making it difficult for them to learn any other language. They speak Common and use their hand signs much like the drow, but usually don't have more than two languages in their repertoire as they find it very useless. They have the ability to learn any language (expect languages like druidic) it takes twice as long to learn any language. They are masters at learning any language that is primary sign language and can learn it and memorize it almost instantly but doing so has a 50% chance to forgetting any spoken language other than common.


Genies are humanlike beings who dwell on the elemental planes. They are famous for their strength, guile, and skill with illusion magic. Genies appear as humanoids with bodies that have external physical characteristics that evoke their elemental nature, though some varieties are capable of shape-shifting into another form. They form their own distinctive societies in their native planes. Because they have powerful supernatural or magical abilities, genies are sometimes called upon or summoned by spellcasters to grant wishes or perform services for them. The individual varieties have differing attitudes towards humanoid races native to the Material Plane.

Having lived for some time Psigma has the ability to change their shape and size so that they are able to match their environment. They have been known to take the form of Furres, but the Shifter often chooses to remain as a Ferian and in a form most fitting to it: a chimera-esque creature that simply shrinks in size when it is appropriate.

Forms the Shifter is capable of taking are as follows:

•Gryphon [A deep ebony coat of fur covered a body of muscle and scales that stood several feet above most Ferians. Though its body could be compared to that of a Mystical Gryffe Ferian, the distinct lack of wings and fanged beak indicated that it was truly a beast all its own. A hodgepodge of different beasts the monster was certainly worthy of fear with both its size and scent, which was an unnatural tone of ash and sulfur -- akin to brimstone. Sturdy legs carried it in a gait similar to a kirin, but a body mass appearing little different from a lion. Without wings it can be mistaken for a wingless gryphon.]

•Dire Wolf [Standing, typically, at a full 3' at the shoulder at full size: the beast carried a proud purple mane and long, black ears, rounded at the tufted ends. A fluffy, black tail was tipped with purple while purple stripes ran down the length of its back and down its lavender hind leg. Its ebon coat was thick, built for a beast of winter. Large paws were indicative of its 'natural' size. A long muzzle had naught but four, individual fangs and a belly as soft as the rest of it. Its paws were black and eyes a pupiless magenta. It had strong hind legs, but was unsuited to swimming and more so to loping through deep snow and high cliffs. It was capable of running over 30MPH, for some time, its stamina incomparable to most prey animals. It had large, leathery wings that only showed in its Dire form.]


•Anthromorph [It walked on two, digitigrade legs, lavender in color marred with purple stripes. Its feet were like bird's talons and its head a wolf's, likely mimicking its two main forms (a gryphon and direhound). A black body and tufted ears it had a distinct, purple mane of fur. It wore naught but a vest and a pair of goggles it used to hid its light sensitive eyes. A long tail that ended in a bushy, feathery tip, it walked relying on its tail for balance. It had no discernible gender, in fact it had no gender, nor any reproductive organs. Its body was taught, so much so its strangely formed ribcage could be seen along its torso. It has large, feathery wings are only visible in Dire form]
