• Description

  The jackal is tall. Taller still when his ears are accounted for. He is an anthropomorphic jackal man, so his head and neck are that of the canine, but his chest, torso and arms are human. Ravik's legs are somewhat of a mix. They appear human right up until the digitigrade feet; he has an extra joint and paws which he stands on. A short, semi fluffy tail grows from his back end and helps him balance. As Ravik's body is slightly strangely built, he does hunch a bit to keep upright and when running has been known to stoop to all fours to move faster and more efficiently. His speech can sometimes be slurred from trying to use foreign words with his muzzle which was not built for them, but he's usually understandable.
  
  Ravik's fashion sense comes from his home world of Geb. This planet is based off an Egyptian theme and therefore Rav likes to wear colorful loincloths with decorative golden belts. He's almost always seen with pouches and vials of his work as well.

• Biography

  The alchemist is somewhat of a local misfit. Many of the jackal people of Geb are warriors as they are some of the most fit, capable people. Ravik was never much interested in the ways of fighting, though. He sought knowledge, was interested in how things worked, why they worked that way and how they could be improved upon. He was orphaned at a young age and grew up mostly with his best friend Thaddeus who was the stereotype of a young jackal.
  
  When he was in his teens, Ravik took to working in the shop of a crazy old ibis scientist. The man was regarded as somewhat looney and while he eccentricities scared most people away, Ravik found him intriguing. He flourished under the ibis' tutelage and grew to be a bright young mind. When he was old enough, he took the dimensional door to the Nexus Tower on Ianua and began his life of studying abroad. While he still holds Geb in his heart and even hunkers down there when he needs a break, Ravik loves dimension hopping and gathering intel on different worlds. He often spends his adventures with his best friend, a magic-altered human named Matthieu. When he's not hopping around he's in his workshop at home creating elixirs and potions with the alchemy skills he learned from his mentor. They come in handy when off world.
