She was something of a spectacle; a delicate blossom that had bloomed from an aged tree.
Faintly pointed ears marked her as being not-completely human, alongside ivory coloured vines which seemed to paint themselves across her pale, blemishless complexion. The half breed's eyes were a strangely luminescent blend of green and blue, though it was difficult to distinguish which of the two colours claimed dominance upon the iris. Her hair also took on a strikingly unusual colour: pink, of the pastel variety, the likes of which had been roughly cut to sit boyishly above her shoulders.
Her attire was equally bizarre for a lady of her time, hardly dressing like a woman at all for the most part. Where a blouse should have been, instead a loose tunic would often rest against her torso; in place of skirts, she wore trousers or leggings, not dissimilar to what a peasant man might wear; and instead of heeled shoes, she would instead wear sandals, or go completely barefoot, save for a plaited bracelet about her ankle.
No longer the timid creature she once had been, the woman had lost one trait and gained another, instead appearing to be rather more thoughtful, if a little hardened by her travels. -
