  A Snippet Memory for Lion Dreams: 1999-2014

  
  Lion Roleplay began in the Summer of 1999, with a small dream called FLP but better known as The Flare Lion Pride. There were no pretty items or patches and avatars. It was before all that, when feral wolf rp began as well. That's right, lion rp is just as old as wolf rp! The first King was King Lion, a realistic lion rper, who had a harem of lionesses in this single pride. There were, of course, no other males. And one of the first feral hyenas was Bonezi, Oz's great-uncle, who followed the FLP as a scavenger.
  
  
  When King Lion disappeared, Lion RP fell out of vogue until 2003. This is when the Lion King II dream opened. A few patches and avatars but nothing mind-boggling. It was as a rough sketch for developing lion rpers, not yet realistic. It was fun to run around. There were other versions such as Lion King Pride and Lion King I but LKII was the main crowd attractor for the time.
  
  
  There were a few dreams in between but the next major dream was Serengeti (2004), co-owned by Oz. Yes, there is a Serengeti dream today but it is not the same owners or dream, for that matter. This is where the first semi-realistic lion rp started though it was based around Lion King. There were pridelands, outlands, and a graveyard. This dream lasted until late 2004 when Oz's co-owner decided to take it down.
  
  
  Serengeti was replaced with Mihadi Miliki. The first, total realistic dream, not including hybrids, albinos, or whites. This was the first dream for prides to have African names and even started the African alt name craze! Unfortunately, this dream did not last long. Though it was loaded privately for a while, the masses switched to:
  
  
  Tanzania! In mid-2005. Tanzania had been in the making, by Oz and Zere, long before Mihadi went down but it took a few weeks before it could be loaded publicly. It took time to make a name for ourselves but we have come a long way since then, developing the basis for realistic lion rp and hopefully creating the most stimulating savannah dream out there. We have grown and learned from our mistakes. And today we still stand. Aspirin helps.

• Staff

  Staff/Employees
  
  This is a long needed and awaited portion for our site – our staff! There has been some confusion during recent days of who is staff and who is not. I, Oz, stopped keeping tracking of names in the dragonspeak because I could never update it when the dream would stay up for weeks at a time. So I just removed it and told the public to look at descs. Well that did not work!
  
  Our staff is here to help you. They are not a force to fear or feel threatened by. We try to be fair and unbiased. Just because they do not side with you in one disagreement, does not mean they hate you and will never help you again.
  
  We also make sure our staff are friendly and active. Just like the other regulated positions of the dream, we make sure our staff does their job. They do not get special privileges in RP or can use their power to intimidate or illicit reasons. They must help people when asked unless they are handling another issue in dream. They can ask another staff member to handle the case, but cannot just leave you in the blue.
  
  So here is the list of people you should get in contact if you have a problem, question, or so on.
  
  
  The Owners
  
  Oz and Puppy
  They are the first people you will want to contact, even if you are redirected to another employee. They are the owners and the only current loaders of the dream besides Holly. They have final say in any decision made. They will handle:
  Fights – Judging, clearing up problems, twinking, or thrillkilling.
  Spammers – OOC harassment
  Patches – Glitches/problems in portraits, avatars, ds, or the map
  Interviews – Gaining land, a white alt, or a hybrid
  Decisions - 98% of the time, the owners will agree with each other. If they do not, your case will be taken to a 3rd party staff member. What Oz and Puppy say, goes though. No staff member can overthrow their decisions.
  
  Kanuhii is no longer staff. She helped Tanz bunches and is always welcome here. She did quit furcadia though and only rarely stops in (on the game). Further questions, just talk to Oz.

  Regular Employees/Staff
  
  These people are here to help, just as much as the owners. Though they have different tasks than the owners, they can still solve your problems. The owners, if they are handling other things, will often redirect your problem, to one of these people.
  Riolu
  
  Regular staff’s job mostly contains of:
  Fights – If an owner is busy/not around. They can not claim a death to a character though without going through an owner.
  Spammers – OOC harassment
  Colours – Monitoring colour violators
  Hidden IC - Let's hope you read this. There are some regular staff unlisted who do not have alts OOC. And they do not have STAFF in their desc. These are RPers out there who are keeping an eye on our backs. They will inform public staff of problems to handle. So you never quite know whos is listening. IacC Staff prefer to remain IC all the time, are definite regulars, and are constantly RP-active.

• Credits

  The people listed below are all who pitched in by either donating their art, were commissioned, or editted the patches. If we forgot you, since Oz is a forgetful SOB and there were many new artist changes in the update, please let us know in game. You will be added. For specifics (who did what), contact Oz as well.
  Artists do get to keep their sigs on their ports, so you can also check for those as well in game to help identify artists.
