  Casting a Shadow

  A lot of his standard moves of the Ghost and Dark types revolve around the offensive use of shadows and darkness.

  Literal with the use of Confusion Ray and figuratively with his semi-varied moves.

  Glass Cannon

  Much like Gengar, he's capable of dishing out the hurt but not so great at taking it. His poor nature doesn't help matters much.

  Like any other member of his species, Taunter can utilize his ability to float through solid objects to his advantage.

  Utilizes, but of course, Ghost-type moves.

  Super Smoke

  When phasing into the shadows, and sometimes through solid objects, he'll take on a less physical smokey form.

  Terrifyingly enough, Taunter's physical touch isn't the only thing that kills-- he can tear the source of whatever's keeping someone alive right from their body so he can eat it.
