    • Interesting People, Places and Things: unusual occurrences, strange artifacts, bizarre technology, unusual species, good stories and especially an insight into them. In general knowledge he does not have. Theo's motivations swing between research and entertainment, the former focused in recording information regarding the variations between worlds and preserving their history, as well as looking into timespace anomalies (including timeloops, dimensional wormholes, and "hyper-reincarnating" individuals.)
    • Entertainment. Theo is always on the move looking for something to preoccupy his attention - frequently bored, rare to have invest in any given situation, and easily distracted or swayed by knowledge. A man rather prone to playing pranks just to see the reactions of others.

    • Histories! I'm looking to gather stories for Theo to tell. Instead of continually making up new ones on the fly, I would like for him to embody the essence of a historian by preserving the tales of old settings and characters alike. I look to gain permission (and stories) from as many setting creators and players as possible, by him either having read about events, heard about them, or him having been a quiet bystander there all along. It would also be entertaining for some of what he has gathered to come from unreliable sources and range from not entirely true to outright nonsense, as history is rarely accurate.
    • Aeklianoran Artifacts
      A persistent seeker of any records and artifacts pertaining to the fabled planetary system of Incantarium and the lost world of Aeklianor, which is considered the stuff of fairy tales by most who have even heard of the musical realm. Those who take such old stories more seriously may have theories regarding an unnatural star that seemed to shield its surreal system from intrusion. The hypothetical natives of these planets are collectively known as the Incantari or Cantori. However, anything that might remain in existence regarding Aeklianor is exceptionally rare and far flung. Theo may or may not be part of an organization of spacetime travelers he works with in order to gain access to these sort of items.

    I try not to avoid anything that might happen organically, but I do prefer fade to black when it comes to character intimacy: erotica just isn't something I have much of a personal interest in and especially isn't something I'd be comfortable writing with just anyone. I'm happy to discuss what details might be important, but not everything has to be played out. If you're looking for smut, my apologies: I am not the player you are looking for.

    I do not have the best health and often struggle to focus.
    I'm a narrative motivated, but low energy player.

  • Notes

    • The Historian Bard and The Archivist are not separate versions of the character or AU - they are the same person entirely! They are not past and future versions of Theo either. These separate pages are just to show how he dresses and presents himself depending on the time or place he is currently visiting. In general he tries to blend into local culture and has a wardrobe extensive enough to be considered its own library.
    • While a being of powerful nature who harnesses surreal ability and very much abuses translocation, he is rather limited by being physically weak, personally pacifistic, and primarily a watcher and recorder who does not fare well in actual combat. A very frequent bystander, lurking silent and unobtrusive until engaged.
    • If your character would ignore this man in the background just observing and writing, go ahead and let it be so. This is part of the nature of his character and I am always delighted to just drop in a post or two to let you know he's watching. You never need to feel obligated to respond to Theo's presence and there is a high chance he'll actually depart shortly after being spotted. Theo should definitely be known as a sort of mysterious figure that is just "around".
    • The methodology of this character might be a little off putting at times - Theo will appear without warning just as much as he will disappear without warning. There is a chance he might stick around for a bit, but it's just as likely he'll only stay a moment - maybe even as little as a single post. This will be entirely IC! Theo is alien in thinking and easily bored, a creature of whim. Conversely, this also means that if his attention is captured he might be an entirely invasive figure as he seeks out knowledge and entertainment.
