  Dick Grayson was a member of Haly’s Circus’ Flying Graysons, along with his mother and father. They were acrobats who’s main preformance was preformed without a net. It ended tragically during a charity show in Gotham, when a cruel man named Tony Zucco severed the wires on his parents’ trapeze, sending them plummeting to their deaths.
  
  Bruce Wayne, a well-known billionaire Gothamite who just happened to be there on that fateful night at the circus, took the small, newly orphaned child into his home. There, Dick learned Bruce’s darkest secret: he was the Gotham vigilante known as Batman.
  
  Dick asked Bruce to make him his kid sidekick; and after a long while of trying to persuade him, Bruce finally gave in. He trained the boy until he was 9; then, Dick debuted as Robin, the Boy Wonder. Helping his new father fight crime on the streets of Gotham, it wasn't long til he became well-known-- and feared.
