Background
Blodwen is one such being, whom, in her village, thought that she was a Changeling, a sapling of Fae Blood. The rumors were almost true, as Blodwen had silver hair and eyes, and an incredibly pale complexion. She was born to an unknown couple underneath a solar eclipse. The whole village knew that any child borne under the dark of the moon is an anomaly in the community, and was needed to be taken away or bad luck will follow the village.
The couple left the child in a spot the villagers called the 'Elven Wood', and left the village itself. The villagers didn't really know who the couple were, neither did they get to know them because they just arrived, the lady heavy with child. It was as if they were never even there.
Blodwen meant 'White flower', and the Elves had taken her in, claiming her as their own. She takes care of the forest and the valley where the village stands, and is most likely seen to be riding a huge white elk every time the season changes. She is an expert on the long bow and the short sword, which is made out of Mithril, a kind of steel that doesn't burn on Fae skin but wounds mortally.
Her favorite season is Winter, when everything is coated in white and awaiting renewal, or birth. It is as she says, "From the very start we are all destined to come to an end. But all ends lead to a beginning, as it is the balance of all Nature."
