• Biography

  Born upon the Yaska in 2152, Tor grew up in a close-knit community, as all quarians do. His mother, Naeru'Naraan, was a tech expert, his father, Mal'Naraan, a soldier. Both shared the knowledge of their occupations with their son, helping him grow into a formidable fighter and engineer. He was close friends with Kal'Reegar growing up, being born on the same ship as the soldier. Life was good upon the Yaska, but it wasn't too long before Tor was sent off on his pilgrimage. Leaving the Yaska at age 17, his father gave him a shining ring made of gold, silver, and platinum. An heirloom passed down the family line, from far back when the Naraan clan still lived on Rannoch. Taking this gift gratefully, Tor bid his parents goodbye, and left to explore the galaxy, and to fulfill his pilgrimage.
  
  On his own, Tor travelled the stretches of space for some time, scanning planets in the hope of finding something worth presenting to a Captain within the fleet. An anomaly was presented on his scanners as he orbitted a planet named Taitus in the Talava System of the Caleston Rift. The anomaly was a small quarian distress signal. A refugee camp upon the planets surface had been battered by pirate attacks, and were running low on resources. Tor made the decision to land on Taitus, and offer all the help that he could. Arriving at the small camp of refugees, he handed out the rations he could spare among those who lived there, and offered to stay for awhile to help rebuild the camp, and to set up defenses. It wasn't but two weeks into his stay that another pirate attack hit the refugees. This pirate ship was in poor shape as it was, seeming to have just escaped a vicious battle. Led by a turian named Artus Damarius, the attack was short. This pirate crew seemed frantic, and it did not seem that their aim was to kill any quarians. Seeing Tor's tech skills in use, Artus held a gun to him and took him hostage. The desperate turian swore to leave the refugees alone if Tor went quietly, and so, he did.
  
  Once aboard the ship, Artus put Tor to work on fixing the ship. The vessel survived a fight with an Alliance ship, and was in very poor condition. Many repairs were to be made. Tor knew he couldn't argue with being kept on the ship, so he did as was told. As time passed, and he proved to be a valuable resource, Artus and the small crew stopped treating him as a prisoner, and more like a crewmate. Tor would speak with Artus much during his time upon the pirate ship. The turian was born to a poor family on Palaven, and ended up on Omega at a young age. In the bad environment, Artus became affiliated with unlawful people, and soon came to be a pirate. There were many nights that Tor would tell Artus that things didn't have to be this way, but the Turian would shrug it off and say "it doesn't matter, now,". Tor would keep at this routine, however, in the hopes of changing the Turian's ways. As the months passed, Artus and Tor grew closer, and grew to care for eachother immensely. Artus had been a good-hearted Turian thrown to the harsh world, and Tor still held such a good heart. One may have even called it love.
  
  Two years had passed upon the ship, and a night spent talking with Artus finally seemed to bring a change of heart to the Turian. Tor had managed to convince Artus that he could turn things around, and the Turian was ready to give it a try. Whenever Artus went to tell the crew, however, they did not share his opinion. They grew angry, accusing the quarian of making their Captain grow soft. This anger soon turned to mutiny. As Tor and Artus were speaking one night, the crew attacked, and trying to kill Tor in hopes of regaining their leader. As Artus retaliated to protect the quarian, the crew soon realized that it was futile to try and remain under Artus' lead. They turned on Artus, and despite Tor doing what he could to help, the battle ended in the crew being killed, as well as Artus being fatally injured. With his dying breath, Artus relinquished ownership of the pirate vessel to Tor. The Turian died protecting the Quarian he loved, from his own crew.
  
  The loss of Artus was devastating to Tor, but he knew he still had his pilgrimage to complete. With ownership of the vessel, he knew what to do. The ship was in top shape, having been repaired and upgraded over the two years of his stay. He decided that he would bring this ship back to the fleet.
  
  On the trip home, he found an abandoned wreck. On it there was a damaged geth, and he took it in and began repairing it. When it activated, they weren't hostile to him, and the two became unlikely comrades. Tor brought the geth, whom he knew as and called Solitude, back to the geth fleet and let him rejoin the geth fighting against the heretics. Solitude gave him an upgraded geth assault rifle upon his departure as a goodbye and thank you gift.
  
  Now 19 years old, he returned to the Migrant Fleet, and offered the ship to the captain of the Yagangar, and the strong vessel was accepted gratefully. He was welcomed into the large crew with open arms. It was hard to adjust to such a large crew, but he did his best. Many years passed, as he worked on the Yagangar. He was a very skilled fighter and engineer, and proved to be very valuable to the ship.

• Personality

  Unlike many other quarian, Tor likes having time alone. He works well in a team, but can work just as efficiently on his own. He is slow to trust others, but remains polite and professional when he must. It takes a lot to anger him, as he is very cool tempered, and can usually shrug off anything. When he forms friendships, he is a steadfast companion.
