  Minding her own business, staying busy working with her animals and tinkering with the few personal projects she maintains, Flikka has worked to reestablish herself ever since the...incident.
  
  The incident in which she and her then-partner in crime, Trott, were discovered by the staff of a very large, very important Inquest lab. The same incident in which Trott ditched her and left her for dead. His actions lead to her being captured and held hostage by the Inquest, for a period of several weeks, until she found an opening to make her escape.
  
  She didn't get away entirely unharmed, however, a fact which is easily noted by the burn marks across her arms. The Inquest didn't prove to be the kindest of hosts, seeing as Flikka was one of their repeat offenders- one of two asura who had stolen or otherwise destroyed tons of important equipment and research material, time and time again, and always escaped capture. It didn't help that two prior escape attempts by Flikka had resulted in the deaths of several important Inquest members. She was subject to lengthy and not so pleasant interrogations about her partner, and after the second attempt, she finally offered them all of Trott's information.
  
  Once she escaped, she fled the region the lab was located in - Metrica Province - and returned to her home in Caledon Forest, only to find that her beloved Theta was gone, along with a few of her other in-training pets. Flikka spent some time searching for them, especially for Theta, but after a week with no trace of them, she gave up. A part of her hopes that Trott had enough heart to come get them, but he never seemed like much of an animal fan, and Flikka isn't sure if she'd trust him with any creature's well being, anyway.
  
  Flikka's life prior to meeting Trott was not particularly noteworthy. She was enrolled in the College of Synergetics, but she was only partially though her studies when she was captured. Now, she pointedly avoids going to Rata Sum, as the Inquest wander around there freely and she doesn't want to risk being recognized...even a few years later. She no longer commits crimes of any sort, never daring speak of it to anyone, and hopes she never has to come face to face with Trott ever again.
