The wretched spawn of a reclusive witch and a foolhardy lord, Ursula was born in the Rockport Grotto approximately a century ago. She doesn't remember much of her childhood, save for the pungent dampness of the cave and the occasional intrepid traveler who sometimes entered the cave to speak with her mother (and never left).
Oddly enough, she has no recollection of her mother's face -- likely the result of witchcraft. She can, however, easily pick out her father from a crowd, if only because he's the residing lord of the lands. They have never spoken, and Ursula used to wonder why her mother let him leave the grotto alive. After hearing about the rioting in the streets and the rumors whispered under trembling breaths about the Bewitched Mad Lord, she no longer wonders.
She carries with her a heavy black grimoire, the letters "CHZO" inscribed on its cover. Most people who stare too long at the grimoire find themselves seeing those letters again and again and again in their nightmares.
Ursula herself looks to be a fairly comely young woman in her mid-twenties. Her skin is a healthy shade of tan, her kohl-lined eyes a deep blue, and her lips plush and pink. Despite her nomadic lifestyle, her complexion is smooth and her hair boasts a healthy lustre typically only present among pampered noblewomen. The unlucky individuals who have either angered her or witnessed her in a precarious situation, however, know that there's more than meets the eye.
