Alone Again February 27th 2018
After being so graciously offered sanctuary by Mapogo and Queen Ismitta, Valerica stays on Vita's old land for as long as she can bear. However, with no sign of her old pride returning, she pushes away the past and leaves on her own in the dead of night.
Vita is dead--she allows herself to become a lone wanderer but decides she will soon travel across the Outlands to find the one known as Mahes, of the pride Deshret, which her mother spoke highly of before disappearing. -
Sunrise February 11th 2018
It has been a very long time and the pride is scattered. Valerica returns to her homeland to find no sign of her mother, father, or siblings. No trace or scent that they have been around for so very long. Though fear grips her heart, she knows her mother would have scolded her for being such, so she takes her places and declares herself the new Queen of Vita. That is, until her parents return, whenever that will be. . .
Until then, she will wait for her missing pride mates to arrive, if they still live. -
Ticking Clock November 7th 2017
Valerica goes with her mother out beyond farther than she had ever been before in her life. Her little eyes get to see their home for its beauty and splendor. Soon enough, her mother sits and explains to her that her place within the pride is going to end soon, but Vale does not know what her mother means. Adea reassures her as well as she can, though Adea is not very motherly.
After their brief talk of her future, Adea then begins to tell Vale many stories of her past and how their family came to be, and how vast the world really is. All of this is extremely tiresome for a little cub, who falls asleep amidst the stories, and her mother carries her home to the safety of the den. She sleeps blissfully, for now, forgetting what her mother had said. . . -
